The Guardian is misunderstood by a lot of people. It's politics is liberal not left/socialist. We are mostly living in a society that is liberal and therefore the Guardian have an interest in keeping the status quo. It is vital that we all know what liberalism means. Liberal attitudes to race and ethnicity but hidden agendas on redistribution and social mobility...there is a hidden contempt for working people "Yes to more immigration just don't threatened my job and for gods sake don't build any new houses near me.." A lot of it is just signalling by people /writers who are actually quite wealthy.... villas in Tuscany...etc

This smear campaign against Mr. Jeremy Corbyn, showed just how powerful he was becoming with the people. They just had to obliterate him, and his Hope's, plans, and way of connecting people. I for one, am bitterly, angrily, disappointed, but not surprised, that it's taken this long to get to the truth, and that journalists, aren't covering it. Thank you for bringing more exposure to this matter. Mr. Corbyn is owed a HUGE apology from ALL the press,that eagerly jumped on the bandwagon to, bring not only his party, but his "person", into disrepute, but I'll not hold my breath.

And what did it say about the MPs in Labour who happily joined in ? There's Angela Raynor, butter wouldn't - melt- in - her- mouth, happily sitting-pretty next to coup instigator K Starmer. I don't think that any of this is coming from within the Labour Party. It seems more likely that there is a single lobbyist faction that can influence both the media and political parties to ensure that only an illusion of choice exists for the voter. To my mind, no such films were required to vindicate Jeremy Corbyn. Anyone who has followed his career, actually observed the man's actions as well as listened to his words; and possessing a modicum of sense, could see the man was being stitched up like a proverbial kipper. We live in an age of profound and extended narcissism where the bullies and liars always seem to win, and masses of people allow themselves to be controlled by filthy rags that aren't even fit to line a cat litter, but everything must change. If only Jeremy or some other man of his calibre would form an entirely new party to challenge the current circus.

The EHRC report clearly showed there was no systemic AS in the Labour party. The 2017 and 2018 parliamentary reports clearly show less AS in Labour compared to the Tory Party, UKIP and society in general. It also clearly shows AS was reduced under Corbyn. The Home Affairs Select Committee of Parliament held an inquiry into antisemitism in the UK in the same year and found "no reliable, empirical evidence to support the notion that there is a higher prevalence of antisemitic attitudes within the Labour Party than any other political party". Hundreds of Jewish socialists who fully supported Corbyn were silenced by the media.

To abstain from all voting would collapse Parliament as it would have ni perogative from the people to do anything. To Raze Parliament and how it operates is the only way forward. The fake democracy needs a certain no. of people to vote. Collapse them. Today. He and the Labour right now represent the interests of the faction of the capitalist elite who believe in more state involvement, as opposed to the Economic conservatives and Liberals who are fully right wing and believe in no government involvement and letting the markets do its thing, (make them insanely rich as they squeeze the rest of society). 80 years ago, those leftist liberals were middle of the spectrum. Peter makes some very valid points. The country really needs a valid alternative to a morally bankrupt government, instead of which it appears the Labour party has made the same mistake as the Tory's. It's more concerned with the Labour party than the country and the electorate that it is supposed to serve. I'll be damned if I vote for another bunch of self serving hypocrites though I abhor the Conservative party with a passion.

Made the mistake of voting Labour once. Proud to say never made the mistake of voting Tory. The answer is not to be found in either or any party. The answer is to be found in a electoral system that leads to representation of the entire electorate - not a minority only. Like as the Swiss have.
@jimcrelm9478
@jimcrelm9478 Жыл бұрын
@@baronburch6702 A government that claims to represent and serve the entire population denies the reality of politics, and plays a very dangerous game in so doing, because the conflict and repression that is central to any economic or governmental system will exist whether it is openly acknowledged or not. Trying to obscure it behind concepts such as the common good, supposedly neutral rules, peace and order, sound economics or any other universal concept does not make that reality go away. In fact, by laying claim to the right to represent the common good of the whole of humanity, a government dehumanises its enemies by default: they must not be part of humanity by that logic. And governments always have enemies because there are always conflicting interests, competing bases of power, and the potential for violent force to be used. Government is a monopoly on violence (or the potential for violence) with which one subpopulation subjugates another subpopulation. And you cannot abolish this defining feature of government. The only thing you can do is to distribute political power as widely as possible among as many sections of the population as possible.

This makes me glad i don't live in England (a place i adore) anymore. Not being able to vote Labour takes the choice out of my hands of voting either for a party i supported that has destroyed any humanity it had or for a another party thus possibly helping to usher in a Tory gov't again. The current Labour leadership have knowingly created this situation at the optimal time where Labour voters are pretty much being emotionally blackmailed by the party itself into voting for it in order to stave of another catastrophic Tory gov't. If Labour voters to go elsewhere you can rest assured the party will point the finger at them instead of admitting any wrong doing.
