This is very fundamental knowledge of collar pattern drafting. What's different between Peter Pan Collar and convertible collar? Peter Pan collar will sit on your shoulder flat where as convertible collar will stand at your back neck ned fold down to your shoulder. So the biggest difference is how much stand at the center back.

Neckline measurements are from the body patterns. You draft body first. And take the neck measurements to draft collar patterns. Thanks!

When u did the overlap the outer part of the collar will have tension we usually enlarge the collar at the outer part not make it tighter. Can u please explain

Bigger overlap makes shorter collar edge length. It means higher collar stand at the back. That’s what you meant?
