This song is the story of my life :) This is one of my very favorite performances by any artist. Not shown here, in the original PBS Special, Mary Travers said immediately before this performance -that Dave Van Ronk hadn't been feeling well, a kind understatement by Travers. Actually, at the time he had Colon Cancer and died a short time later. What talents! -All of them here together for this performance. I can't wait to die so I can hear heavenly performances like this on a regular basis. And is it too much to ask to be able to be gifted with some talent too?

My wife left me. She drove to Virginia with our 7 kids. I drove to Seattle where her parents lived. I found an autographed CD of this performance at an Estate sale. Signed by Peter, Paul, and Mary. Their sister had passed away. I asked if it was possible for this to be genuine. They said yes, and sold it to me for $1. I am blessed. Down & Out. Amazing.
