I was home sick from school the first episode of "DAYS OF OUR LIVES". I have watched it ever since! Life would not be the same without it. Please renew it! The only story line I hated was the demonic Marlena.

Bo and Hope were the best. I remember one of my favorite storylines from back in the day. Hope was at the wedding chapel being forced to marry Larry Welch. Bo swoops in on his motorcycle. She jumps on the back. He rescues her and in the background they are playing "I Need A Hero". Those were the days.

The church scenes with Bo and Hope are my favorite also. I remember rushing home from school to watch it and talk about it with my girlfriend's lol. We even had a couple of guys in highschool that dressed like Bo with the leather jacket and hair. Great memories.

Yeah for sure, I've been watching since I was a baby (born 1963). I'm kind of an expert on early Days. I love Dark Shadows too. I watched all the episodes (over 1000) in about 3 months. I'm pathetic, I don't have a life. It was pre-pandemic.

OMG, I started watching in the early 80's and am still watching,but am ready to give up,the stories are bla and repetitive and to many of the great oldies are leaving or are gone.Really miss Bo and Hope and Tony and Anna and am not caring for the new Jennifer at all.And this story with Steve and Kayla after all they've been through in the last year is very stupid.

Now some one gets kidnapped and is back home in 3 episodes, and characters are acting totally out of character... Kristen is willing to give up raising her child (that she has been trying to have since 1996) because she wants to be a good friend to Lani? That's ridiculous. I'll never give up on Days but I'd really like some better writing!

@@TeehWells Yeah, they barely mention her in this. I knew she was angry at Peter for quitting, but did they never get along? The few clips I’ve seen of them at conventions lack any sort of warmth, unlike most of the other “couples” on the show. They talk over one another and contradict one another a lot (actually he seemed rather condescending toward her). Is that the deal? Did they just not like each other?

@@Historian212 In the beginning they really couldn't stand each other. Kristian admits she was really immature and would often not memorize her lines. Other actors reported they had large screaming fights. I think it got better over time, but I honestly came down to Peter tolerating her and often appeasing her. I don't think they ever became friends. In 2015, she was throwing him shade on Twitter. She's not a very nice person.

@@TeehWells I read that they did not get on that well in the beginning mostly because Peter felt Kristen had no experience as an actor & it showed. However, she got better & their relationship did get better as well. I found many of their scenes, especially as they got older showed a lot of closeness. The little things like her slapping his rear or when he would come up on her & pinch her rear like a long time couple would. I've seen lots of backstage scenes where they are messing around & having fun with each other. I don't think they disliked each other at all. I know Kristen had commented about Hope not really needing Bo to go in & that made sense. Peter left the show for good & Kristen wanted to have Hope stand on her own & find her way on her own. She knew Peter wasn't going to come back this time so she had to have been getting pretty tired of the constant "Hope can't go on without Bo" attitude. He just said here how proud of he was of Kristen & himself for the great job they did together. He also mentions how he was glad that he got to comeback and end Bo properly. He said the exact thing Kristen did. How he it didn't feel right for them to just have him go off & mentioned from time to time. Kristen said she didn't feel good about them saying she was off doing whatever for 6 months. I just wish the producers would have given Kristen a proper send off. She had invested just as much to DOOL's as Peter had.

speaking of Bo's death Stephen and Marybeth did such a good job with their emotional crying scenes when Bo died. They were Oscar winning performances for sure.

You mean Emmy winning performances? Oscars are for film only. And yes Mary Beth Evans won the Best Actress in a Drama Series daytime Emmy for that very episode in 2016

Bo died of Glioblastoma which is what took my brother, that was a very hard show to watch. Then 2 hours after that show was over my father in law passed away. Not a good day. But I loved Bo and Hope. I grew up with them. Thanks for the interview, it was great seeing Peter again.

When I was in high school, my older sister was married. She would come to visit on the weekends, and her and my mom would talk about Bo and Hope. I thought they were friends? Now that I’m older I’m watching DOOL, and know who Bo and Hope as a couple on that show. I recognize him as Bo because when I was home from school, my mom would watch the show. My mom has passed away, and you brought back good memories. Also peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, while I watched with my mom. Thank you. ❤️

My thoughts exactly!!! You know it doesn't take the writers long to come up with scripts...cause some of the stories were crap!!! One week of Bo coming back from wherever he's been held all these years..to find Hope gone, his daughter "dead"....of course he'll set out to find them. He'll find them in New Orleans back at the mansion were Bo & Hope made live for the first time. No saves the day...he & Hope will conclude that the happiest they ever were was when they were sailing around the world...so that's how they'll leave....together, sailing around the world.

They didn't just portray Bo & Hope...they were Bo & Hope. It's clear neither actor wants to come back for a permanent Bo & Hope storyline but I think PR & KA & all their fans would agree that DOOLs owes Bo & Hope a better, satisfying and deliriously happy ending.

Bo and Hope were my all time favorite couple and I haven't felt there was or is a couple that compares. I've watched the show since 1973 at the age of 11. I watched it with my grandmother for many years. Then with my sisters, eventually I watched it with my daughter. Here this past Thanksgiving I watched it with my granddaughter who is 16. Life evolves just like DOOL.

Wayne and Lynn live in my county. Our kids went to school and play baseball together. It was a shock the first time I saw them shopping at our small town Pioneer market. Haha.
