Finishing touches to Peter's B175 engine rebuild.
The bike had been outside since 1977, the engine was locked solid and full of water.
Here we finish off the rebuild, ready for a test run.

Another engine saved! Great job on the whole series. I think the customer will be very happy with the end product and i think the head looked really good after painting. It looked pretty scabby before.

Best line of the series... "Now ready to pop in the frame and be riding down the road within a couple of hours" Comedic timing and delivery were faultless!! 😂 Sufficient to say that the frame and running gear are not quite ready for that first glorious run! Hoping you might be able to "help out" eith some of the rebuild on that front! (Help out in the same way that you helped out with the engine!) Thanks for the amazing work on the engine Dean it's a right beauty ❤️

Absolutely superb series. It has really showcased the depth and breadth of your skills, knowledge and expertise. You are THE go to man for these machines. Grandad would be so proud. And he is. I know this. Now it needs to run - have you anything in mind for a test stand? Perhaps one could be built with a fuel tank, controls etc with mounts for the engine. Could be a useful item. As for the finished engine, "aaahhhmmm shuuuwaaaahh the laaaaad will be ha'ppy with it....

One of the Bantam's i built. Not sure what model as I have done quite a lot many years ago. The head i fitted was a George todd. That had a central spark plug hole. Also I never knew they ever used a concentric Amel carb. I thought they were Monobloc. ???. Or has someone upgraded it. Great video Dean. Steve.
