Hail UP Glendon. Briefly put, it was one of my early reggae concerts out of well over 1000 that I attended, the last one I didn't photograph or audio tape or video or all three at the same time. Santa Davis on drums, George Fully Fullwood on bass, Tony Chin on rhythm guitar and all the band were magic, SO well practiced and in the groove as if they had been playing together for many years WHICH THEY HAD! Outdoors, 5800 people, sold out show, all sharing the same One Love vibe but somehow more militant than that because of the Star. Emperor Haile Selassie I of Ethiopia and the Holy Herb were both highly celebrated on stage and in front of it. Please enjoy my various photo albums on facebook and ask more questions there if you have them. jim.marshall.9275. RASpect!

Peter, like Bob and Bunny, was also a prodigy, a visionary, and a star in his own right. I was in my teens when they were rocking the world. I could barely make out most words, but the soulful beats and the universality of the messages got through to me. In the rainy season, when the sky would be laden with dark clouds and the air was oppressive, and I looked forward to the maize harvest, these rhythms gave me chills, and I would just skip here and there, totally happy---feeling IRIE. I still feel IRIE when I hear these beats. Later, after both both he and Bob had died, as an exchange students, travelling across the US, I always had Peter's infectious songs keep me company on the Greyhound bus. Just sublime!

a great man with a voice, performance and a message. the situation of Peter Tosh and Bob Marley ALWAYS reminds me of Malcolm X and Martin Luther King. just because Peter and Malcolm were true revolutionaries they were demonized and strip of their due recognition by the very same people they stood and fought for. PETER AND MALCOLM LIVES ON !!!!
