Always felt Peter Tosh does not get the recognition he truly deserves. His singing is majestic. His lyrics are thought provoking in terms of the messages conveyed. The seventies were defining moments for the world and Jamaican Reggae superstars like Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Burning Spear, U Roy etc were the standard flagbearers that defined the adolescent philosophy of that beautiful time. Social Justice, equity and equality, greater say in society and busting confidence in oneself. We were misunderstood by our parents, our senior siblings and later our early employers We are now in our 60s but have been largely shaped by that philosophy which we have carried to date. I do not know why Jamaica does not produce these types anymore.

If you Google the production details of this 1977 album you might be surprised to learn that Peter Tosh asked several of THE WAILERS to play on this album. I've always known this was Peter's best album, 1. because it is righteous, and 2.
