A word for the historical records. This footage was shot for a cable tv show that I did with producer/director Chili Charles, a Trinidadian drummer/archivist. It was called "L.A. Reggae" and lasted until his passing, from 1981 to 2004. (Chili's son Oliver is the drummer in Ben Harper's Innocent Criminals). That's early Wailer, Vision Walker, at his side in the opening shots. We also did two interview tapings - in 1981 and 1983 - that are widely available. Peter was always co-operative with me and often called asking for copies of his early rarer records. One such call came a few days before his assassination, as "No Nuclear War," his final album was just released. He wanted a copy of "Here Comes the Judge" so he could remake it on his next album, changing the names of the ancient bad guys, to current objects of his derision. Sadly, it was not to be. Long Live Peter Tosh! One Heart, Roger Steffens/Ras RoJah

I knew it was you Roger ! Be well Been watching your interviews w/ Peter, the Behind the Music documentary and many or all Peter tosh interviews and rare footage. I was obsessed with Peter tosh from 2015-til now even. But I’ve cooled down though I came in real HOT! For my love and passion for his music. He is one of the most interesting people I’ve ever known to mankind. His music gets me lost in trances of oblivion & bliss I love to smoke exotic weed & listen & watch a live concert filmed the hypnotic music tosh created is amazing. Though I don’t doubt that he was a man with man flaws, I wish he hadn’t cut off those closest to him. I never could stand his common law wife neither she was no good for him. Anyway God bless and he well. Love hearing from you!

Is it the video that makes the sound poor? The vocals are very low and muffled. The clarity in general is bad

@@Embassy97 And in the old days, before they had a "reply" button to click underneath people's comments so that they would be tagged and the reply would show up under the original comment, you had to just reply to people in the next comment. So, asshole, this "comment" was never a comment, it was a reply to someone who was calling Peter Tosh his "Father", like God the Father. And I don't give a shit if I'm replying to a 3 year-old reply.
