Warrick was too early for the modern pass happy NFL. Had he went to a team that had a decent QB and talent he would have excelled. Let us not forget that he was drafted in the first round by the Cincinnati Bengals who have a history of making mistakes. I also think a more NFL ready Chad Johnson made Warrick expendable.

STRiZZY It may have been a shitty team, but that is not the reason he sucked. Chad was drafted 1 year after Peter and he did well on the team. Peter just could not go North/South. He tried doing the stupid juking in the NFL where the players were no longer North Carolina LBers, but fast NFL players. His juke sucked, he would run backwards and get tackled for losses every time. He was garbage. Luckily the year after Peter, the Bengals drafted Chad and TJ and they actually were competent WRs.

That was my dude back in the day. Loved watching him play. Thought he would be the ish in the NFL. But much like Reggie Bush, he didn't turn out to be nearly as spectacular in the pros as he was in college. Very nice that you began and closed the video with Peter's 2 best moments in the NFL. That punt return and the long TD catch both happened in the 4th quarter of the CIN vs KC game. KC was undefeated at 9 - 0 coming into that game. But Peter's heroics ended the undefeated streak.
