@@TheCitizensnipes Matt Jones The 6'6, 230lb multisport athlete Razorback QB in the early 2000's, who was the 21st pick of the 1st round of the 2005 NFL Draft for Jacksonville as a WR after a notable 2-TD performance at WR during the Senior Bowl (against the best senior DB's in the country despite him not playing receiver since high school) and his incredible NFL Combine measurables (namely his 4.37 speed and half an inch shy of a 40-inch vertical, at that freakish size). You don't cover the best QB runs in CFB history without Matt Jones, especially considering he was the leading career rushing leader for SEC quarterbacks prior to the likes of Tim Tebow and Nick Fitzgerald. You can literally look up long highlight videos of Matt Jones' numerous touchdown runs. In college, Jones was a star quarterback for the University of Arkansas, and was also a member of the basketball team for one season. During his football career at Arkansas, Jones was a part-time starter his freshman season in 2001, and was the full-time starter from 2002 to 2004. In his freshman year, Jones helped Arkansas defeat an Eli Manning-led Ole Miss team in Oxford in an NCAA record-setting seven overtimes. The Razorbacks lost to the University of Oklahoma in the Cotton Bowl, and finished with a record of 7-5. (Jones was also involved in the OTHER longest game in CFB history two years later -- seven overtimes against Kentucky in 2003 -- winning both games). In his sophomore season, Jones led Arkansas to a share of the SEC West Division championship, with a last-second touchdown pass to receiver Decori Birmingham, in a game against LSU in Little Rock. The game came to be known in the Arkansas-LSU football rivalry as the Miracle on Markham, making reference to War Memorial Stadium's being on Markham Street. Arkansas lost to the University of Minnesota in the 2002 Music City Bowl, and finished 9-5. His junior year in 2003 was his most eventful, and saw Jones lead the Razorbacks to their second consecutive 9-win season. This included another seven-overtime victory, this time at Kentucky. Jones also led Arkansas to an 2003 Independence Bowl victory over the Missouri Tigers, 27-14, and the Razorbacks finished the season with a 9-4 record. Jones was named Second-team All-Southeastern Conference at the end of the season. Jones' senior year saw Arkansas fail to reach a bowl game, finishing 5-6. He played four seasons in the NFL for the Jaguars, in which he did see limited success, but his career was cut short due to substance abuse issues with cocaine, for which he's been in recovery ever since. There's actually a decent video from a non-Arkansas fan about Matt Jones titled, "He Was the Next Megatron on Paper, But Things Didn't Work Out: What happened to WR Matt Jones?" -- although the title is a bit off considering Jones is two years older than Calvin Johnson Jr, who is only two months older than myself. So, if you're in your twenties or younger, you'd likely never heard of Jones unless you were a Razorback fan. But he was legendary with his freakish athleticism and playmaking abilities.

There was no mix! There was certainly a bias. So many runs unseen that were better! You can throw a rock and hit SEC QB’s with better runs that the ones listed here

Surprised to only see 1 play from Oregon in here. You could also add about 5 more of Braxton Miller. I'm remarkably biased, but that dude was the most electric runner at QB I have ever seen. Vince Young was so productive and seemingly impossible to tackle, but Braxton had moves that just shouldn't have been possible. His run against Cal was only one juke but he made that poor guy miss by several yards despite being right in front of him. I've never seen anything like it.

Thank you!!! Only one run from Braxton this whole video is criminal

Need a part 2, lots of other names that can be on here for some incredible runs. Need at least one or two Joshua Dobbs videos....he's the only reason Butch Jones wasn't a complete disaster right from the start at Tennessee.

I must say you're one of the best highlight channels going, really diverse options and you don't ruin it by putting generic stock music in the background

A lot of great QB runs have been made since Vick. I used to tape Florida St and Virginia Tech games and rewatch them over and over again. Then they played each other on the BCS championship. I think I rewatched that tape so many times I lost count. Peter Warrick and Michael Vick. It was a treat!

Thank you .... nice video .... as a WVU alumni, I feel a bit slighted .... Pat White was a four year starter at WVU, ran for 4480 yards, and 47 TDs, while taking his team to four post season bowl victories. I think you could have given him a bit more love.

One of my fave college QB's of all time. I still remember him playing in preseason game for the Dolphins. Made a scramble and someone blew his ass up on what I thought was a cheap shot. White wasn't that big of a guy especially by football standards. After the hit, I knew there was no coming back, And I don't believe I ever saw or heard his name again
