I first heard this song on an episode of Dawson's Creek and it was sung by Jennifer Paige (who also sang "Crush"). I love her version but I had no idea this was a cover of another band's song. I remember bk then when i had cable and ther was this weird foreign channel that played French music all the time randomly started playing this song and i loved it.. We never got to hear this on the radio in the US. Now 10+ yrs later i woke up on a Sunday morning having this song play in my head all day, Nostalgic. Reminds me of High School.

I dont understand what it means.. long after anyome dies life goes on? meaning we're all just a number and don't matter? I.E. nihilism? and totally forgetting solipsism as well. Not sure I can say I like the meaning or agree that life on earth is "old" as so much of history is a lie I wouldn't be surprised it's all fabricated and the world is only hundreds of years old with it all being a theatre done by the CIA forging photographs and artifacts. When people say the earth is old I fee like they do not think for themselves.

The meaning of the song has drastically changed now that I know the lyrics. It’s not a sad song… it’s bullshit positivity. I’m gutted. This song came to mind when I was thinking of a lost lover from 2001, now long gone, and the days keep on coming… I felt a tinge of sadness as I thought of this song. But actually it’s got nothing to do with that.
