I was 2 years old when my mother had a boy friend who drove a 352 hauling livestock. They ran as a team and I grew up in that truck till I was 5 and started school. I have many vague memories, but I still love the 352, and the smell of cows. I still miss Bo, (the blue heeler truck dog). He could load and unload livestock really well, and babysit me just fine according to my mother. I referred to cows as damn cows for many years. One of my most vivid memories is hauling a load of watermelons up I-5 and dropping them off at multiple markets. I got to eat all the broken watermelons for days. I'm not sure how they got roped into that load as it was a huge mess. Shoveled and cleaned out the trlr at pig farm. Became a truck driver myself at 25 and been at it 25 years. Have zero regrets about my career choice. And I love ATS!

@@HammerLane79 I've had that thought many times as a driver, but being as little as was at that time, everything to me seemed bigger. I think Bo was even taller than me when standing on his back legs. I can remember him licking my face when I was standing. To this day I still want a blue heeler for a friend. But they are a lot of energy for a dog.

@@festersmith8352 Yea dont get a blue healer unless you need one for its natural abilities. My oldest daughter made the mistake of getting one as a house dog... yea not good, those dogs are honestly kind of dicks. It is funny though as it tries to herd her 3 cats into her bedroom all the time.

They are a very active dog, who need a job. They do tend to have strong personalities, and usually attach themselves strongly to one individual. The rest of the house, they couldn't be bothered with. Getting a heeler is not something to be taken lightly. But living in the right circumstances, they are one of the best.@@loaked3000

With that been said we do not shift gears with the Jake's on....... it will destroy the turbos and cause back pressure to the transmission... But what do I know I just do it for a living!

A lot of people who play this game are truck enthusiasts. Not truckers. So they don't understand how it works. Driving a manual pickup truck does not mean a person automatically understands trucking. This is a cab-over Peterbilt. A 352 model. The engine is said to be an N14. (14L Cummins) Any true Peterbilt fan is more geared towards a 379. Cab-over fans are 99.9% of the time Freightliner fans. Seconds to that, Cummins are trash engines. I was a heavy duty mechanic for a few decades as well as a trucker. Cummins are bottom barrel. It's a fanboy engine. Detroit or Cat 100% of the time bro. A 425 mechanical Cat and a Pete 379 is the most incredible setup. Or a Detroit 60 series is also incredible.

Turning radius destroyed. When Americans stretch the frames out like that, it induces a heavy sweat. Comfort comes in the driver seat and the advanced suspension of the truck. You don't need to increase the wheel base. I've been a trucker for many decades. I've donw city P&D and OTR as well as offroad/oilfield. I hauled over dimensional loads, overweight loads (permitted), dangerous goods in dry bulk and liquid, equipment, sea cans, trombones of over 75 feet in le gth trailers stretched out, super-Bs and much more. I will take a conventional frame with my truck EVERY day. I don't sit on the floor because that causes degenerative disc disease. So another thing that irks me is people who do so they can install window visors that cover the top half of the windshield... 🤢 But hey, I care about my aging body, not about how cool I think I look.
