Just gone midnight! I’m 19 days sober!! Got liver problems. No more whiskey 😢 Irish folk music is keeping me sober. I’ve been listening to it for 5 days straight. There’s Irish people in AA here in Australia 🇦🇺 Y’know:- I’ve never acknowledged that my mother was 1/2 Irish ☘️ I do now!!!!!!! I’ve got GREEN BLOOD and I’m proud of it. God is leading me to my Celtic roots. Earlier this year (St Patrick’s day) I found a 4 leaf clover 🍀 I’m also jumping off 4 different downers- cold turkey! I am very happy today 😂 I’m sure there will be Whiskey in heaven, and darts, and pool tables, and a jukebox!!!!!!!!! (And floozies) Jesus was partial to a tipple Y’know… I bet Jesus runs an Irish pub, with a betting shop adjacent!!!!!!!! And no- Jesus isn’t on the same team as the British army. “It’s sad to say I must be on my way So buy me beer and whiskey For I’m going far away! I’d like to think that I’ll be back again To the greatest little boozer And Sally Maclenanne ❤❤❤ PS; My psychologist wants me to get SIX MONTHS off the booze. I hope that by acknowledging my green blood & turning to the Irish people in AA I can do it. Keep up the amazing work…
