A masterpiece, and still triggering SO many feelings...Me as a young little student, just moved from german province to big city Berlin, homesick as hell and sensing, that my first big love is behaving different and fearing he could be cheating. On the train to my 8 hour way home on some weekends, you could listen to music with your headphones, and this song was always playing. I always have to think about this bitter pain of homesickness and lovesicknes because of the jealousy and fear of loosing my first big love in life - I still see myself, listening to this song while looking out of the window, watching the world flying by so fast,sensing every centimeter I got nearer to home...😢💔

These two songs are absolutely gorgeous, as well as the visual effects. It's almost as if a person who suffers from depression sees the world moving at a blurring speed, while we're stuck in place and remembering what has happened, and what *will* happen, leaving us in the mix of a high-paced and petrified state of change around us.... I love this song...and it reminds me of the relationship I was in a little after the song came out. "I should feel grief but I feel none"--hooboy I remember that. Four years of each of us becoming progressively more horrible people. Not quite "War of the Roses," but awful enough. This song echoes so much of that time but the song has more substance than that dismal relationship. Thanks Wolfsheim!

If it wasn't for Tune-In Radio and the fateful months of escaping the house to just walk around town listening to the "goth" or "dark" radio stations on there (which oddly brought up a lot of German music), I would have probably never heard these songs and become a fan of Wolfsheim, nor the likes of other German bands I would no doubt have never been introduced to otherwise.
