One of my friends has quite a few Delugs straps on his watches and I thought maybe I should check them out as well.

It really does boggle the mind in how a new strap can completely change the look and feel of a watch. I’m definitely going to consider this as a more economical option when I get the urge to buy a new watch.

I love the feature on the website where you pick your watch and then could check out all the different color straps on your watch.

I bought from Delugs fairly recently. It was a completely bespoke strap made. I am telling you, the amount of customization is really great. From the style, length, material on the top, material on the underside, # of holes, hole size, hole spacing, stitching color, etc... and, all that for about $140?! I think that's a pretty slamming deal. The quality is really good and customer service is excellent. I find their pricing quite reasonable for the stylea, quality and customer service. The strap was made for my TAG Heuer Aquaracer Solargraph Titanium. I also recently bought a premade strap from Delugs for another TAG Heuer, a Carrera chronograph. It actually just arrived today. From a quick glance and feel, it looks just as well-made as the bespoke one. Supple right out of the pouch it came in. I look forward to putting it on my chronograph and sharing the pairing and my experience so far as well.

I agree. $140 is a pair of sneakers (maybe not since some are nearing $200) or a nice dinner for two. Worth the investment if you have a nice time piece. I’ve only bought the off the shelf ones since I’m not picky enough for a bespoke. lol.

Thanks for undertaking some of the legwork in trying out strap options. In terms of cost, more often than not, you get what you pay for. If you have a valuable watch, it makes sense to pay for the best straps you can get, particularly when subtle design cues and quality are perceived (often subconsciously). Love the pairings of the straps and watches - spectacular.

Good morning from New York. I have an Omega Speedmaster Automatic with a blue dial from 1998. It's an Asian market version that came on a blue crocodile strap. The previous owner wore it frequently and the strap was worn and sweat stained, plus, it was just a bit too short. Omega wanted $400 for the replacement strap. I ordered the midnight blue crocodile strap from Delugs and it was a perfect replacement for the original and is almost indistinguishable from the one that came with the watch, and I saved $260. It is well made, comfortable and most importantly, the right length.

Really surprised with those ostrich straps, the light grey looks amazing on that IWC which is growing on me, amazing how, for me, it looks a little too big on the bench, but amazing on the wrist. Those crocodile straps look a bit too shiny and plasticky for those colours and that yellow is just perfect for that Sinn. Nice review as always, thanks Peter

DELUGS definitely fires! I've tried this company a couple of years ago for a custom racing leather strap for my Alpina Startimer Heritage chronograph (it comes with a terrible strap). The strap is simply outstanding, as the customer service. Worth the money!! There's a lot out there more expensive and not even close to their degree of excellence! Great video as usual!!!!

All of my straps are from Delugs. Their customer service is top notch. I’m not sure if they work 24/7 or not but given the 13-14 hour time difference, they always reply within an hour or so. Their straps range from $90-160 ( I believe) from regular leather to exotic skins. If you’re spending thousands on watches, this shouldn’t be a problem. The alligator definitely needs to be broken in. All other skins are supple from the beginning. I only wish their butterfly deployant was a bit higher quality; my only complaint. I have dark blue jean croc strap on my IWC Portugueser so it looks similar to yours.

Love the look of these straps. Very classy. Considering the crocodile straps appear to be real crocodile leather I don’t think the price is that bad considering. I’m tempted to buy one for my Tissot Visodate although it will probably increase the value of the watch by 50%! I think if you have more high end watches then these straps are worth looking into. I don't like Sinn watches that much, but that yellow combo looks so hot I would probably buy it right now. GS and IWC look gorgeous as well. I've seen a lot of posts/reels from Delugs lately, but didn't check their website.. till now I suppose! Great review, thanks Peter.

They are really good straps. I’ve got a CTS rubber on my Tudor BB pro and their new Delcro straps are very comfortable, I have it on my submariner.

Zeeland are good, but if you want hang out until the end of this month. Delugs has sent me an integrated rubber strap for the BB58...on first impressions it is pretty impressive, i will upload a review before the end of this month 👍👍

Every time I get the urge to buy a new watch I change the strap… there are very good straps out there for a fraction of the price.

as someone who’s trying to import A-grade Nile alligator hide for my own handmade straps, the prices of these alligator straps in particular are incredible. Do delugs include any sort of CITIES document or even just a statement with those straps in particular?

The cut to fit straps are a problem if you want to swap straps between watches with different lug to lug dimensions.

If your watch is £500 plus then £100 for a strap just isn’t that much, a lot of a watch is made with a good strap. Imagine buying a decent watch and then putting a £30 strap on it. It’s like putting the cheap tyres on an expensive sports car.

I have a delugs strap for my cartier Santos, as you can't get them anyway else really. It's great, but I also had issues with the sizing, although I didn't return it. I would buy more but they are a bit pricey of course, that's why I would only get them for a reason (weird fitting of Santos) I have also dealt with their customer service, I did a user error with my order, and they were amazing. Quick, clear, and what felt like a luxury support service.

Anyone know if the newer curved CTS rubber straps fit on the Hamilton khaki? I like the design and idea but I don’t want the straight ones. The curved of the case is way too dramatic for straight lugs.

i imagine it would be hard to put out a truly critical review of a product with it being sent out without habing to be returned, however i can't see what there is to hide here, they're expensive, that is made clear in the review. and the overall cost of buying all these straps outright for review would cost more than the revenue made from the review, take it with a grain of salt but i don't think theres anything dishonest or disingenuous happening on this channel, maybe just carefully worded criticism. just my take though. to add, with the need to break them in or irreparably modify them during fitting, i can't see a point in having them have to be returned as they're unsellable and can't be sent out as review units for other reviewers

The deployant clasp never lines up of the rubber straps. It's quite visible. Their service is great but very overpriced.

You're right, their CTS strap has alignment issues since day one but it's disappointing to see no criticism in this video regarding that. I don't know, I like this channel but sometimes I just don't understand how could people call these videos "a review" when they're just paid ads, simple and clear.

Delugs do make very good straps. They are - like most higher end strap makers - far too expensive. But they are quality for sure. But dude just say - I got a bunch of freebies to make a review - wasn’t turning that down! No need to try and convince yourself and others that it’s because a mate has them blah blah blah. Freebies are part of the gig - we all get it, I think most people just want KZbinrs to be upfront and accept it’s a form of payment - yes it may not mean copyedit of the verdict - but it has to have an influence no matter how small - as a negative review certainly stops the freebies rolling in. As long as viewers know this then all is good and everyone wins.

Hahaha, I thought I did say that, I got some free straps without the need to be returned Regarding the mate, his name is Eddy, he actually was the one who came over my place and showed me his watch collection and half of his watches were on Delugs straps I was contemplating saying no to the email from Delugs and turning the straps down, but thanks to Eddy and his visit, I decided to respond positively to check them out...so his visit pushed me over the line to reply yes to the email from Delugs. I realise on your side of the video it sounds like a justification of sorts, and now watching the video back myself, I hear what you're talking about...but it actually happened as I stated.😊😂 Thanks for sharing btw, much appreciated 👍

They look good but they're far from the best in their price range, just few days ago a famous collector reported that his $350k vintage AP fell off a Delugs strap because the bar used in the strap was shorter than usual straps! Or it's known that their CTS rubber has clasp alignment issues and they don't fix it. And who can forget their $165 PRX straps! What a bargain.
