If you want to see more 8 minute videos of instrument clusters while I talk and do nothing except wait for someone to get it. Days later, then someone can diagnose it, then fix it. Subscribe! We will video a tree growing in real time next video. The only thing I learned is "Dude, you need to change the oil!" It either has an expensive turbo that needs good clean oil with high-temp additives, clean oil to the exhaust and intake cam variable valve timing actuators. Don't forget the intake cam 3-position solenoid for proper performance and late intake valve opening for EGR when needed. I don't get it. At least tell us a "Fart" joke to keep someone from hitting the dislike button. Oh, I almost forgot, you have a voltage drop problem at the main fuse/relay center, battery terminal at the starter or the replaceable contacts inside the starter. Think about this video before posting...what did anyone get from it? Hum?

You can’t diagnose a battery or starter problem by sitting in the drivers seat! First, everything used an AGM battery that once’s discharged do not survive very well. I would actually use a marine deep cycle battery. If you don’t know why, hit me up with a reply. This vehicle, once warmed, and most accessories off, becomes an auto-off, auto-start vehicle. This means the starter will see 6-10 time more use that an average starter. So, meaning it will wear out 10 times quicker than the average starter, duh! I rebuild starter rather that replacements. Why, they don’t install new stater solenoid contacts in the solenoid because they see it move and click. They never check current passing thru the solenoid. So, you will be in the same spot. Get a new solenoid, learn voltage drop and buy a DMM. I hate it when people guess at a problem then start buying parts to replace perfectly good components. As for today’s Chinese battery jumper cables, it is the amount of wire inside the cable, not how thick it is! A 1” thick jumper cable set that cost $12, will have like 9 strands of copper inside. It will charge a dead battery in 12-14 hours. Diagnose it correctly using best practices or don’t do it at all. ASE Master Tech since 1978/Retired

i got a new starter and it still won't work... i think the OEm cable that goes to the starter from the battery keeps shorting it out but i have no idea if a new one would fix it.. i put tape on it and it would fix it but it then would short out somewhere else.. please help

Make sure your terminals are clean and tight. Make sure the negative cable it connected to the frame. Make sure the positive cable is not touching the frame in any way. If you need to, just run a cable from the starter to the battery.

My car is doing this it takes like 5-6 times before it runs I got alternator and battery tested and it was fine

Prob some issue with the fuel system....maybe there's a clog somewhere...could also be bad coils or dirty sparkplugs. If you have a check engine light, should get a scanner to read the codes.
