I literally posted a video just before watching this and realised I posted 7 months ago last time. Due to perfectionism I ended up posting an April video only now because I lost the project file. That made me decide to just post the cut excl colour grading cause that's what made me procrastinate. Thank you for this video. I found it relatable and valuable. Let the LOGs start rolling out onto the web!

I started watching You Peter almost 5 years ago and I learned a lot in FCPX with Your tutorials , You were like one of 5 people which inspired me to do it no matter what. You are talking about Your view from KZbin side and I have to be honest , I turned my videos into real art that takes me to do one movie about 4-12 months with 750-1500 elements inside just 1 movie . My all movies were published and guess what , almost no one watched it , it had 200 views . These movies are the top of tops , this is what happend , people are not looking for value and quality content , they just addicted to watch something and get to the next video , anything that is more than just talking isnt in their interest . Don't get me wrong about talking cuz without You I wouldn't be happy to discover so many great things in FCPX , but the point of my view is , I have to talk about anything or I'm not going to blow up. So this is specific about what content this is and this is hard to talk about it because there is not so many people doing art , as You know art movies and also b rolls takes a few steps further than just a basic vlog. God Bless You.

Really great video buddy. I guess it’s the more you record edit and post, the better you get. And not have too much of a gap inbetween (unlike me) And also like you said, work with what you have. I just really want to get started again when I can decide more what I want to do. I don’t have massive expectations with it paying the bills, but it would be good if it did. Really awesome video man. Ans looking great too! 💪🏻

I think it's also important to mention that some are short edits for posting daily or weekly. Or long edits that will be posted once a month. There are channels that post once a month and have lots of views each time on them. For example studio edits are much faster and efficient, but not as engaging. Outdoor shoots, travel shoots or any sort where you do some challenge over a time-span are becoming like a documentary edit and take really long time.

I have a Sony A6400 with a Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 lens, and I’m planning to start shooting talking head videos indoors. I’m considering replacing the Sony A6400 with either the Sony FX30, Sony A6700, or Sony A7C II, but I’m totally confused about which one to choose. I haven’t shot any videos yet. Should I upgrade the camera and lens now, or wait a few months until I build a base audience for my KZbin channel before upgrading?
