We just got one and love it. We're a little biased, our last 3 cars have been GM's, Suburban, Traverse. Malibu and now an Equinox. We did look at the Honda CRV, Mazda CX-50 and the Nissan Rogue, which were all nice, but the Equinox seemed to give you the biggest bang for your buck.

I have a ‘23 LS with Midnight Trim and color is Blu Glo. 17k miles and I have absolutely no complaints. Does fine in the snow with FWD. Gets me to 80mph on the highway when need be. It’s quiet and just like anything else, if you maintain it, it will last. I do my own oil changes about every 6k miles and it’s reliable. After all, isn’t that all that matters?

How to turn the entry lights on when the door is opened? Dome light auto on when door is opened and closed.???

More HP would have been a nice addition to the RS trim.

When in my Wife has a 2020 premiere with the 2 L she claims when in reverse if someone is coming from the side like someone’s walking before the camera can actually pick them up the VA vibration in the seat on that side and wish the person is coming from. I don’t know if this model still has that or not but I would assume a newer model would.

I just bought a 2024 Equinox last week. I love almost everything about it ... except the seats are really firm and after driving it home (about 1.5 hours away) and a bit more on the weekend, both my and my wife's backs were sore. Anyone else have that problem? Do the seats start to give a little more after a while? It's weird because we used to have a Cruze and it was really comfortable. (I'm 6'2 and ... not thin lol.)

find some padded seat covers. i heard this can be a thing with the seats. Unfortunately I do not have a recommendation for which ones to get.

Must say I like the look of this, but can’t get them in the UK…. But, next week I will be ordering a SantaFe hybrid after much research (including many of your videos - thank you). The SantaFe this year is likely the end of this model as 2024 brings out the totally new EV model. It will be interesting to see how long they quote for delivery, as times are very extended for many manufacturers here.

How does the automatic start work?❤. I love my Chevrolet Equinox. I have the 2024.
@PeterLoweOne Жыл бұрын
If you mean the remote start, it usually involves just locking and holding the remote start on the key (or pressing it twice, I can't remember how chevy does it) if you're talking about the ability to turn itself off at stoplights, I can explain that in a different video, but it helps with meeting emissions standards.

Definitely would not chose the RS model with its hard riding overly large wheels, too much black on the exterior and only all black interior. Just too drab. The Premier with its std 18" wheels is the sweet spot for this one!

Google this product before you buy
@PeterLoweOne Жыл бұрын
Google everything before you buy... but seriously, google its competitors too because if you're looking for faults, the internet is an amazing place to highlight them. On the other side, I don't see normal people coming home from work and saying, "I need to delay making dinner, because I need to tell everyone online that my car is operating like normal" So just be careful to put feedback in its place. Many vehicles have common problems but the vast majority of owners EVERY brand has very few problems these days.

Under powered
@PeterLoweOne11 ай бұрын
My first car was a 6 passenger Buick with double digit horsepower. "Underpowered" is a relative term. Adequately powered is how I would describe this. It's set up for efficiency, not full on spirited driving.
