what he says right here (8:12 - 8:36) is exactly the sort of stuff that kinda made me give up on trying to fight for myself or "win", which i feel kinda made me more "powerful" in a counter intuitive way. peter said something about jesus that resonated with me: "you guys are such idiots, youre gonna kill me, and im gonna let ya, haha."

I can only risk getting out of the way. What happens then is not my responsibility. But getting out of the way and staying in the limit of intellect can only be my responsibility. Everything else is holding onto my dear self-image.
