They should call you ''The Mustang Magician,'' when you're done with that car it will probably be stronger, safer, and better built than it came from the factory in 1969. I really like how you beef up the front frame, suspension, motor mounts, and eliminate the shock towers so you have more room for whatever engine and header combination you choose.

Nice work! I have a 67' with a 351W bored .40 over and 400hp top end kit. I have zero regrets and still have the shock towers too. had to modify hood though. cheers

What kind of primer did you put inside the frame rails to avoid future rust?

Hi there. I found the front frame connector pocket to be a snug fit on the frame extension.(to get it up and flush to the flange of the rail..).but it was easier to pinch the end of the frame extension (at the top) than try to open up the pocket. Are you going with the TCP bolt in center support (cross brace) as well? It looks like a stout piece.

When you trim your floor to fit, it is a butt weld correct? I mean you don't overlap the new metal over the old.

Well it is good to hear that you are planning to film the actual work. But it doesn't sound like it's high on the priority list. Bart Simpson: "I can't promise I'll try, but I'll try to try. I had a $299 '68 floor pan on order for 3 months. They finally refunded my money. Went to order it again and it was $570....NOT gonna happen! Gonna wind up sectioning the floor out of my '82 fox hatch, adding mini tubs and make it work.
