Every Vampire Power Explained | The Sims 4 Guide

This guide will help you determine how to spend vampire power points, as some powers are quite costly to master.
The 25 powers and a brief explanation (more details in the video) are:
Fledgling Vampire Powers
1. Detect Personality: Reveals all traits of target sim.
2. Bat Form: Allows your sim to travel as a bat.
3. Cast Hallucination: Makes a target sim talk to themselves.
4. Eternally Welcome: Lets you lock and unlock doors in other sims' homes.
5. Occult Student: Reduces the energy needed to use powers.
Minor Vampire Powers
6. Vampiric Charm: Activates for 4 hours. Gives a happy moodlet and increases the power of flirty interactions.
7. Vampiric Strength: Makes your sim work out more effectively and more likely to win fights. At rank 3 you can turn metals into elements.
8. Command: Can force other sims to do your bidding, such as be mean to others, sit, or repair items.
9. Garlic Immunity: Your vampire is now immune to garlic.
10. Vampire Creation: You can turn other sims into vampires.
Prime Vampire Powers
11. Mesmerise: Causes target sim to be stunned/dazed and stand in one spot for a while.
12. Child of the Moon: At night time, get a permanent happy moodlet, level skills faster, your needs decay slower and use less vampiric energy.
13. Irresistible Slumber: Puts a target sim to sleep.
14. Manipulate Life Spirit: Feeding technique that wipes all of a sim's memories and relationships. Can be restored to give a confident moodlet, but the relationships will not be repaired.
15. Vampiric Slumber: Sims restore vampiric energy faster while sleeping.
Master Vampire Powers
16. Dampened Emotions: Gives your sim a permanent 'fine' trait, which overrides other emotions to give them emotional stability.
17. Supernatural Speed: Enables your vampire to travel in super speed.
18. Deprive Needs: Lets you target a sim and lower either their bladder, hygiene, energy or hunger need to almost empty.
19. Sun Resistance: The sun won't affect your sim as much. Max rank (3) means the sun doesn't affect you at all.
20. Odourless: Hygiene need never decays.
Grand Master Vampire Powers
21. Influence Emotion: Your sim is able to let out a large pulse which gives everyone in the surrounding area an emotional moodlet. At rank 3 this is very strong at +8.
22. Mist Form: You can travel as mist.
23: Beyond the Herd: Your social need never decays.
24. Tamed Thirst: Your vampire sim will never go into a frenzy and feed on a random sim no matter how low their thirst bar becomes.
25: Immortal Pleasures: Your fun need never decays.

One plus note: if you have two vampires who both can turn to bats, they can woohoo in bat from and if the girl gets pregnant from that, the kid will automatically have this power.

I made my vampire a hot hunk who's also secretly a powerful devil for lore wise who just wants to have fun with humans. He got turned into a vampire by Vlad and he ended up killing vlad during their many duels and he is now in love with a rich global celebrity guy. I only got him the hygiene not decaying perk because I still want him to like have the fun and social meters x) oh also he's a mafia boss too.

I'll admit my vampires are hot like the ones in Twilight, although my vampires actually lure in other sims, drink their blood (or "plasma") and are much better overall. My female vampire sim, Scarlet, even turned her boyfriend into a vampire lol.

These vampires remind me of the Vampire Lord form in Skyrim. The more you feed, the more points you gain to unlock more perks and you'll end up really powerful. I just love it that Sims 4 did something similar.

Whoa that last trait is quite unique. Immortal Pleasures: Fun need never decreases! That's completely unheard of. 2021 I have every pack, there is nothing to keep fun from going down. And I have 3 of the most perfect sims.

My celeb singer/actress sim was turned by vlad, moved into his mansion and married him. They both adopted a little blonde human baby girl. My sim is pregnant now and i plan on making the human baby a spellcaster so she can live forever with her vampire fam whilst remaining mortal!

Detect Personality is so good. Perfect starting power. Because you can cast it on Sims, learn their traits, gain Vampire XP and it doesn't cause any problems. It's great. Take it and just use it like crazy to level up quickly.

I love eternally welcome with my evil vampire. Literally my favorite way to play. My home lot has a small opening (crypt like) to my basement that has my coffin. Everything else, living my life, drinking sims dry etc, I do at their houses. I am currently in someone's house who I have yet to even introduce myself to. I am cuddling their baby and working on my singing skill. It cracks me up.

Hi Lee :). To add powers go to their needs panel, and then click the book icon near where it says power points. From there depending on your vampire's rank and how many power points they have you can pick powers, but keep in mind that depending on their rank you'll also have to balance this out with weaknesses.

My favourite power of the vampire mod is -Sun resistenice -Bat form -Vampiric charm - Illusions -vampiric might Sorry if i spelled things wrong english isnt my first laungage

Honestly same. You don't really need all 3 modes of transportation (mist, bat form, speed) so I just choose bat form. Doesn't affect duel results I think, plus it gets the job done: moving from A to B. You also save points for other powers. Might is one of the most important to me, so I put points there. I think I win more duels this way. Sun resistance is also crucial to functioning like normal Sims and to feeding, so I max it. Child of the Moon is AWESOME. I max it 3/3 and get so many things done quickly, earning progress in record time. Plus it's super fun at night. I also put points in Command, in case I like having children/roommates and they become hard to manage. Charm/Allure is also lots of fun, so I choose it to get more Sims for my harem. Weaknesses are harder to choose. Nightmarish sleep is the best one. Eternal sadness and Sloppy drinker are very bad to choose, it takes so long to feed and your vampire becomes so hard to manage it's such a drag. Thin skin is definitely not for me. Guilty drinker is fine - I just fly to a mirror and calm myself down fast and it's fine. Overall it's just about your styles and how you imagine you would live like. I'd also like vampires much more if they add a championship of some kind into the game: all vampires in the game are paired to compete and they need to achieve certain targets: influence more Sims to do sth (offer wrists/become uncomfortable) than the other in a day/ win a 1v1 fight (best 2 out of 3 - within a week, so your weak vampires can improve)/ duel offsprings/ find and feed on certain targets/ ruin certain family relationships in the town. All consequences in moodlets and relationships among Sims can be forgiven and reset back to normal at the end of the championship, all turned Sims can be switched back to humans, and all gains in skills/simoleons can be kept. They can duel one another and the best vampire gets rewards (negate weakness/get special titles/special clothings for being the ultimate vampire/modify reputation/max level career at any 1 job they want/family & vampire clan gets promoted or learn skills faster). That'd make the vampires much more interesting.

I like having a story for me characters in the sims or doing something specific for my characters like how my sim (Jake Ghoul the vampire(no pun intended)) has a vampire daughter (Jaiden Ghoul) who is a mob boss or criminal mastermind who uses the mind control powers to seduce, manipulate and control other sims so they do what she tells them and creates a massive empire of Jaiden followers also is the sim at 2:58 called Logan magno cause she looks a lot like Jakes wife who I got from the gallery also Jaiden plays the long game and will probably turn people into vampires so she can manipulate them easier (and cause she’s evil just without the trait)

So as your vampire gets stronger they're also forced to pick up additional weaknesses alongside the powers. So at the same time that you pick the powers you want, there should be weaknesses on the right hand side of the panel... have a look through and select one of them too and you'll be able to lock in the powers.

You can buy it from a bookshelf or order them on the computer. I think for the computer you might need to research vampires first 😊

Oh that one is a nice easy fix :). Simply click on your vampire sim who's got the vampiric run (speed movement) enabled and then select: vampire --> disable vampiric run
