Love seeing how gentle you are with the dog. I've been grooming my Morkie, for 5 years now and really appreciate these videos to teach me more techniques, and items to use to get a better cut. My advice to people learning to do this is to watch several videos, don't expect perfection, and to be gentle, take one step at a time. The first time I only clipped her back. Next time I added her tail, etc. Be gentle, gentle and gentle.

She has been this way since birth.

Mine is 12yrs old and shakes all the time. Esp when she's getting combed, washed or trimmed. She shakes when she's cold too. Every small dog I've ever known shakes. This furbaby is fine and used to this, she's just anxious to get it over with.

@@awie140 My little yorkie mix girl does shake when I bath and dry her, worse shakes when i leave her at the groomers she shakes crazy also probably in there whilst getting her cut, My groomer never seem to manage an Evan perfect cut, either side of her ears, face, and feet, Not like this excellent groomer in these vids does her perfect cuts. My dog is a scared little dog, scared with crackling noises such as plastic crisp wrappers, the hoover, the noise from passing traffic, but then is brave chasing cats and Fox's out of our garden,🤣 Or when robbing my handbag if I forget to zip it 😂 I've had her from a tiny baby, She actually was the more nervous less confident in her litter, but I chose her, worked with her to get her brave as can be. But she still trembles. Now she is like my shadow always has her eye on me no matter what I'm doing.

They can shake for a lot of reasons! They can shake because they are excited, nervous, anxious, or when they have low blood sugar! I recommend rubbing some natural honey in your yorkies gums everyday, especially when they are shaking even when totally relaxed. Yorkies don’t have proper areas in their bodies to store sugar, so it is all used up right away, so it can be easy for them to get low blood sugar! But be careful, if it gets low enough they can start having seizures!!! Honey and corn syrup also work! Anything sweet and sugary, but try to use natural sugars!

I habe a little yorkie, too , But i would never cut her hair so short. She has beautiful long hairs, like yorkie should have. So short hairs didn't look good. But it's easyer for the owners to spend time for other things. My sweety loves the time i brushes her hair a few times every day and she often sleeps by this time.

I groom Blind deaf and agressive dogs My experience with blind is they are scared move around on the table a lot more and has no sense of hight which causes them to step off the table I push my table against the wall and for the first 10 min i put them on it treats talk cuddle praise a lot and than i turn on the clipper and do the same turn on the dryer and i praise cuddle this way they recognise the sounds its not unknown to them

Turn the trimmer around and put it to her back end in the motion u would clip No baby talk u have to be firm and say no if she doesn't bite it give her a treat say good job calmly if you nervous or hesitate she feeds off of that and will make her feel the same
