Great video, I love the Aritzia on you. I am five feet tall and have my trousers and denim tailored because I have a 28” leg and most trousers and styles are around 30”. I have mine tailored to half an inch longer than my natural leg if I want to wear very flat shoes or 29” if I have a chunkier sole. I have recently purchased some fabulous trousers which are wide/straight leg and they have their zip at the side so are smooth at the front and have a lovely popper at the top and look formal or dressy. They are from a UK brand called Whistles and are called Willow if anybody is interested 😅.

Thanks, Lori. This video was really helpful. I wish brands would watch this and see that their idea of petite is way off. I'm so tired of things, in petite sizing no less, that need at least 4 inches taken off. I think they think petites are 5'6" and under!

Hi Lori. I have noticed that several brands that offer petites have a 30 inch inseam. The under 5' 3" crowd does not seem to apply for more petite inseams. Thanks for the video.

Hi, thanks for your efforts putting this together. I only buy ankle length, which is usually just perfect length for me. Hemming costs at a tailor get quickly out of hand. In future videos, pl consider Talbots petite, Style and Co and Charter Club from Macy's, and even Lands End for petite choices that really fit the 5'3" and under gal.

wit an wisdom jeans were my very first influencer purchase and I still reach for them. I do like the denim of other jeans better but are good traditional denim but are too casual but i might try their trousers. This is an option.

Ann Taylor "petite" jackets have sleeves which are way too long. And they are difficult or impossile to alter due to trim or button hole placement!! They are clearly NOT made for women under 5'4". Too many petite pants are hemmed VERY long for 5'4" women wearing 6" heels. This is NOT an average petite. Manufacturers need to make their petite dress trousers shorter!

I am 5'2" and 28.5" inseam is still too long. The problem is these manufacturers aim for the high end of petite at 5'4' leaving those of us who are shorter to still hem petite clothing. Grrr.

really high-rise is not good for me either. I have a short length of stride so midrise or regular high-rise. I’m looking for, but I like the trouser look. I have lots of straight legs and things like that even in some trousers but a lot of influencers and the models they do not, look like that they have worried about the puddle at the bottom of their feet. I cannot walk on my pants. Drives me insane.

That is good to know because my hips are narrow and I have no butt so that leaves me with a bigger waist! If the waist fits me, the butt and legs overwhelm me (5').
