It's too long!! Absolutely ridiculous. Makes no sense. Why would I process their applications 12 to 20 years later when they're looking to retire instead of starting over?? I want them here as soon as possible to start working, paying taxes, and contributing.

Does it depend on the processing center? Uscis says if your case at Nebraska processing center it could take 22 months?

Kseniya, in the flow of things you forgot to mention what is the third, fourth step and so on.. I mean you did not cover what happens after a visa is available. You know applying for GC and then interview, etc.

If your brother is married to a US Citizen, it would be easier and quicker for their spouse to petition. If needed, you could be a financial sponsor for him with your brother on his wife's petition.

@@nimarkaur2543 Canada is a first world country like 🇺🇸 your sibling can come to the 🇺🇸 off/on as a tourist. Maybe your sibling can try to look for employment at the same time and ask if they can sponsor him/her for employment visa. Theres so many canadian here in the 🇺🇸 i've heard they just have to go back canada at least once a year not to lose their residency and go back where they went either here in the 🇺🇸 or such. I have seen alot of van lifer from canada doing that. Try to search here on yt. *Im not a pro but i have seen alot here on yt and sharing their experiences.
