I have 2 Sweet Autumn Clematis growing on a fence in N Utah, 7a for over 15 yrs and it is not invasive here. Wonderful smell in the fall.

Your absolutely right... plenty of time left to plant. So many people give up on their gardens way to early in late summer. I'm planting fall perennials, working with cool flower seeds and even getting ready for winter sowing. Who said gardening is done for the year... I'm just getting started lol. Made a list of the plants you showed that I would like to get. Thanks 👍

Noelle, I needed to think about what to plant on the left hand side of the house where land arches around and goes into the backyard. I think ornamental grasses would be a good consideration and thanks very much for names & description of so many and for giving me the idea to plant liriope around trees. Very helpful & thanks for your video!♥

Thank you for this great list of plants for me to consider in my zone 5b New Hampshire garden! 🌻

Sweet autumn clematis is invasive if left to go to seed. I'm still killing it in my flower beds and lawn 10 years after making that mistake, and my neighbor is too.

Thanks for sharing that. I was going to get one for the main flower bed. Will rethink my design options.

You show lots of interesting plants and give lots tips and descriptions, but it would be very helpful if you would also give the growing zone.

We travelled to some wild areas in WV recently and I saw helenium, chelone, and blue gentian growing as I only wish they were in my own garden. They were gorgeous.

Southeast USA zone 7b. After 40 plus years in professional horticulture, sweet autumn clematis is the worst weed ever. Also, it took me years to figure out that it was this weed in flower that caused my very very bad headaches every year. I appreciate that in drier soils sweet autumn clematis is not a problem. I will admit that it is beautiful.

Love this video! So many ornamental grasses I have not heard of and will be looking for them at my local garden center! I bought some September Charm Japanese Anemones 2 years ago and have not been able to get them to flower in my garden. I have them in part shade. Any ideas why they are not flowering? Thanks!

Thank you Noelle for another awesome video! 😃😃You showcased a great amount of plants for the 'end of season' interest that are gorgeous! I'm still rearranging plants in my beds and was wondering about adding that Chelone you highlighted. Does that spread itself around? It does look beautiful and petite in size (I think).

I’ve never had Eupatorium Chocolate spread, but the Hamln does, but that’s not a bad thing either!

Beautiful plants! I have a “Daydream” hybrid aster in a large planter that is in its third year! It’s blooming now (but not at peak yet), and I love it. If you haven’t tried it, please do! It’s such an amazing late season perennial!

For everybody who's getting hysterical about certain plants being invasive. Please realize that plants that might be "invasive" in one area might barely survive in another. None of the plants mentioned in this vlog have been "invasive" for me here in Colorado.

Very irresponsible to recommend sweet autumn clematis which is so invasive!
@lindaga820 Жыл бұрын
It depends where you live. Not invasive everywhere ! So don't be so hard on her.

Why irresponsible? If the people like it , it's their problem,
