I’ve had mine since last June and absolutely love it. No leaks or any issues. I went from 4 regular litter boxes that I had to scoop daily to the pura max and my back has been thanking me ever since

I'm so happy you posted this! I wanted a liter robot for when I get a cat this spring but the one I was looking at was giant and round and it just seems like a size that's difficult to fit somewhere in my apartment. I like that this is a little bit squared off and fits nicely in a corner!

I’d be down to buy another one if they made a even bigger drum and opening. I love the small footprint of this one vs the litter robot. It fits perfect under the shelf of my garage workbench

I was considering buying one of these but I heard about the urine leaks happening to people and I am wary of the size of the litter area they have to use. My cats love to pee right at the entrance of their current litter box so it makes me worried that their urine will land where the rubber lining starts and leak under the drum. The Pura Max is so tempting though because I'd love to give them the luxury of always having clean litter to use.

obviously,your cats pee at the entrance,it will leak on other regular enclose litter boxes or self cleaning. for pura Max, tape duck tape in front, cats will go all the way in,they will not pee or poop at the entrance anymore, once they learned the right position and get used to use that position,the cat will stick to that. you can now remove the tape.

That’s a good tip. But a lot of work for a 600 dollar machine😅 you have to train your cat to not pee in corner or whatever to avoid leakage? how about the company should find a way to fix this issue with their product..

Help me. Brand new unit. Bought the litter recommended. Got all set up. Machine rotates back and says cat stuck inside. Do the reset. Run again. Same thing. Cat inside. Have tried 5 times. Can’t find any answer. Help.

Bummed that I ordered through Amazon because mine didn’t come with the deodorizer spray and mat. I am new to automatic litter box and the PuraMax is my first. Apparently one can’t buy the deodorizer separately

Ma funziona senza l'utilizzo del wifi? Se si collega il cavo di alimentazione dell'apparecchio e successivamente si impostano i vari parametri di pulizia...l'apparecchio funzionerà ho avrà comunque sempre bisogno costante del wifi? I thought that this was going to be a great product. Unfortunately in my 6 weeks of ownership it has never worked properly. When in cleaning cycle, it never completes the cycle saying there is a cat in the box when there is patently not. I end up having to lift the box and realign it. Perhaps someone can enlighten me but so far I would not recommend this product. Save yourself a shitload of money and just go for a conventuel litter box. I have kept the original packaging and will offload as soon as my cats can go outdoors.

I think if you have the money these automatic litter boxes are worth it. They all have issues, it depends what the owner will put up with. I had one of the first Litter Robots with two cats. One cat loved to dig, not much room to do that. The other didn't get the turn around and stick head out opening, she stuck her bum outside and went on the step, at that time it was almost impossible to clean that. The company suggested hanging a quarter in the center of the opening and when kitty was hit with the quarter she would turn around. HaHa she said the heck with this and did her business on the floor right next to the Bot. Needless to say it went out by the trash, but was picked up by someone who maybe had better luck than I. I now use two styles of ModKat litter boxes.

I'm having the Pura x and considering to switch to the Max but it looks same same small for me ! I don't like that my cats body got touched around inside the litterbox. Any advice?

I use Okocat regular, and set it to sift at least 30+ minutes after use - box remains very clean!

No but the urine leaks through the edge of the cloth basket into the base. Petkit take no responsibility for the design flaw and suggests putting vinyl tape around the basket to prevent leaks or tissues under the drum to absorb the urine. Shocking customer service.

@@YBChangOfficial I got mine in last spring and have deep cleaned it once but I’ve wiped down the inside a few times with Lysol wipes and gloves of course. 🤣🤮. It’s really east to clean and to keep clean. I add about 3 cups of litter a week with 5 cats

This litterbox is a great idea; however, it is certainly out of my price range. I cannot afford to spend several hundred on one litterbox lol. I would rather spend 10 mins cleaning my litterboxes everyday. I have looked at cheaper options but I still can't get myself to spend over $60 for any litterbox.
