Hi, I received my pura max on June 17 and all has been working great. I kept one regular litter box available while they got use to the pura max. I let the Regular box get filled up before scooping while keeping the pm litter fresh with litter deodorizer. After a week and a half I was able to remove the extra litter box. I really like being able to see which cat has used it by their individual weight with the app notifications. I have 5 cats by the way, ranging from 1 year to 15 years old. I also built a little platform the same size as the included mat so the older cats can climb in. So far so good. I’ll update after my first full disassembly and cleaning

Can you make an update in app for the Pura Max, a fiture to empty the litter. I've bought this but when i want to clean the globe with water, i've to empty the litter manual by scoop it. I thought the function to empty the litter also similar to Pura X 🤦🏻‍♀️

My Pura Max problem is urine found deposited at the top of the base unit. One more problem is while on cleaning cycle, it constantly stop for reason cat is using the toilet despite no cat inside it.

It would be great if there was an additional screen that could filter the tofu dust out as it tends to migrate to the back corner. This causes a type of glue to be created and results in liquid paste that adheres to the bottom pan. Another option would be for small holes in the “litter reservoir” that would let the dust drop down the chute as well.

Hi. We have been using this self cleaning litter for over a year now. But it seems like, after a year. When it rotates, it started to develop a sound. Mine was stuck in cats in the box mode. I unplugged it and replugged it in and it hasn’t happened since. I imagine you prob already tried this but on the off chance you haven’t, maybe it’ll work with any sort of mode it’s stuck on.

Got one. Love it. However there doesn't seem to be any sensors at the back. My cat likes to put its head there when it turns and almost got stuck. I had to manually stop the machine. There are also times when it cannot detect the cat from the front. But other than that, love it. Quiet enough such that the cat is not afraid of it. Just too curious to see it run.

Gaps of filter are quite big, smaller pieces of poo will fall thru the filter and not get filtered out. Often, cat litter clumps stay struck to the base of the cylinder (filled accordingly to the recommended level) despite many hours later & multiple spins. Help!

Unlike PETKIT PURA X, PURA MAX does not have the function to clean the litter out all at once automatically. You will have to detach the cylinder and pour the litter out through the entrance.

​@@gtsaigt Hmmmm.... that is quite a weird assumption to make since you are downloading the App from your country's App Store rather than the Chinese App Store. If you are familiar with the App Store, you can only choose one country when registering and all the apps you download with that account will be from the local App Store. Unless you are using China as your country for your App Store account, you shall not abide by the Chinese laws or the regulations published by iOS or Android for Chinese users. Actually, for all the permissions you mentioned above, some, such as the location, are required by the country you select when registering your App Store account for apps like PETKIT with social functions when they are published within the iOS system or Android system. You will be able to turn it off after the first time you used it. Some, such as the Bluetooth and Local Network, are essential for an automatic feeder with remote control functions. Without them, you would not be able to monitor the data and schedule meals in the app for your feeder. And for Camera, PETKIT app has a social community function which allows you to publish posts with pics. Camera is there to help you create content. If you do not feel like using this function, there's always a "No" when you are asked for permissions, or you can turn it off in your phone setting.

Being a puRa x owner I’ll help you out. The two things I see different and updated is the odor spray mechanism being easier to get to and bigger and the waste bin being bigger and having a top to trap the smell. My biggest gripe is the puRa x not having a top on the waste bin to trap the smells. I clean the box religiously and still get bad odors after a day. Definitely wouldn’t buy the puRa x again just because of that factor.

Strongly recommend not buying anything from this company. Had the Pura X. The infrared sensor failed but they refuse to fix it because it is past the 12 month warranty. They don't even offer a replacement part or have an option to fix it. They literally offered me a discount on buying a new one. Like why would I buy another >$500 litter box with known faults? Just have a read of the reviews, there are plenty of people with similar sensor failure issues. Buyer beware!!

Finally i bought it. After 3 days using it i have some feedbacks: 1. The filter is too big small poop doesn't get filter 2. Even sometimes the clump get stuck and not get filter. Idk maybe because my cat use it too close to the side wall, and some stuck at the mat. I set it to clean after 10 min. 3. I use petkit litter tofu, love the smell. However it left so many dust at the toilet. 4. One time it doesn't detect my cat inside and start to moving the toilet 5. My cats like to jump to the top of the toilet and it detects as using it, even if it only 18 second Overall i am happy of this product. I don't need to scoop the poop anymore so i have more time to play with them

Actually we've got sensors to track your cat's movement. Once your cat comes near the box or jumps right in the box, PURA MAX will automatically stops. Also, it is designed with anti-pinch structure to prevent the tragedy you mentioned.
