Yan has good wrestling but not usman level wrestling and yan wouldn’t be stronger than him and usman would hit way harder even though they are the same weight class.

Not only is his stand up great. He possesses Judo and Sambo so well, it's hilarious how they try to take a guy like Yan down who's so complete in all aspects.

It seems he favors the stand-up, so of course, his opponents will try to take him down when they feel they can't keep up with him there. Doesn't mean that they can beat him on the ground. Their plan A fails, so they try plan B, but it also fails. That's why Yan is champ and they are not. You can't judge them for at least trying.

I think khamzat can beat most fighters from 170-185. Paulo costa and Izzy could pose a problem. I know Paulo isn’t that elite compared to other fighters, but something tells me that Paulo is just a bad matchup for khamzat.

@@bigsmall2842 Paulo is going to be hard to take down and keep down. And has power. Could catch khamzat as he rushes in. But those muscles need a lot of oxygen. Khamzat could possibly drown him tho. Izzy is a good stylistic matchup BUT he's super smart. He'll come prepared. I love Izzy. One of my favorite. But it will be his toughest match in ufc when he fights khamzat.
