The thing I really like about this guy, he means what he sings. Passion in his eyes. Awesome!

Oh man, I rented this video in 1986 while in the army and was never able to find it again! I did have the cassette of the live concert. This was an awesome concert! John Lawry on keyboards was fun!

I like John Schlitts unique color and I like Greg X's amaizing technique. They're so one of a kind that's it hard to believe they were in one ministry and even together onstage (at Farewell concert at least). I can't decide whom singing I like better. John wins with his raspy yet melodic voice and Greg takes it with his amaizing range (4 octaves!) and absolutly perfect control. God blessed them noth, they put their gifts in His service and the result is 33 years of Petra.

I saw got to see Petra during the Beat the System tour in 1985. Was one of the highlights of my life. Granted it wasn't in TN, but NJ. The concert was awesome!!! Thanks for sharing.

@@flashlitestriker4028 I think they played in Newark, but it's been so long ago, I cant remember now. I just remember it being the BEST concert I've ever been too.

@@chrisboggsctlr That's so cool! I been livin in Tennessee forever... but was a kid in NJ, so gotta lotta memories from there, too. (Remember my Daddy studyin for to get a pilot's license to fly planes, & we went to Newark airport & he flew us around in a small plane from there!)... but SINCE I found PETRA (back around 1987-ish) they have been THE BEST, EVER in my books... even to this day! (And I think God LIKES that, too-- cuz He's GIVEN me SO MANY nothing-but-true-MIRACLE/S, numerous times, via this band & their songs & all, too!)

Civic Auditorium, Knoxville, Tennessee - November 21, 1985. I think, because The album was recorded on the Beat The System Tour from three separate performances.
