Oh its an ME 262 so Rob is in his happy place. Great takeoff Rob. You've figured out how to take off of it with your gradual use of adding power instead of punching it. Now, I gotta give Blaz props. Is there anyone better than him at filming planes? Zoom ins and outs and always so smooth and in frame. He's really amazing.

you have not flown this plane how it should be yet, trust me. it flies so perfect without the landing gear you need to try it! just remember to throw it straight ahead.

I love all your videos! Great takeoff and landing - it's very difficult on a narrow strip and some UMX planes are tricky to land since they don't have much mass for gliding. Regarding battery, it's my experience with UMX planes that they have a lot of telemetry and even the little battery gauge readout from the plane. When I fly with my smart planes or a UMX, I just roll over to that screen so I can see the battery at a glance. For some reason they don't display the actual percentage but it's easy to judge from the gauge. I think you just needed to go one more screen from the voltage readout you showed in the video. Just my personal preference, but when I'm flying something with AS3X i generally run high rates in modes 1&2, and low rates for mode 3.

Gentlemen, scroll a little further to the right on the transmitter and it will have a battery picture with percentage charge left. Also, that power system.....easily 8 minutes flying time!! Set an alarm at 3.5v oer cell and don't worry about the timer

It was my second ever plane after an Eachine warbird and first one with a Spektrum radio. I could get almost 10mins flight on the 850mah battery and it has the same power system as the Me262.

I just wonder you have not mentioned that unlike the original 262 this UMX model is ugly and hoplessly “outscaled”. The wing, the rudder, canopy, the nose … everything is wrong. It reminds me the US midwar speculations on how the new nazi jet might look, based on leaked intelligence: basic cocept is correct, but it is just not the 262.
