Okay that was pretty cool, fairly unrealistic in terms of aerial combat tactics of WWII standing next to each other asking the enemy where are you and how fast are you going, but I understand the idea and it really looked cool. Try going on a head to head high speed pass engaging each other. You have enough space to launch from opposite ends of the field. Each pilot use a spotter as if that was your wingman (or RIO if you want to call them that), tactical engagement like real aerial combat. Maneuver into any position to gain a shot advantage (not the classic 6 O’clock). Position your hit sensors in four locations around the circumference of the fuselage and at the nose and tail, piggyback an independent smaller lightweight battery to control the sensors and mortar ignition. You are skilled enough pilots that you could engage in a dog fight using your “wingmen” to direct your movements to engage each other. I realize you are limited on battery power and flight time, position the mortar in the center under the canopy and blow the aircraft in half… just a suggestion. I have confidence in your engineering and flying skills to make this an epic dog fight.

MAD props to everyone involved in this project. This was super entertaining to watch, and honestly I could watch these kinds of battles over and over again. The camera angles were on point, ESPECIALLY the quad pilot following the ME 262 at the end! ((I saw the throttle control and inverting to keep the camera angle ;)

I'd like to see this done with several planes (like 4-20) like a whole war zone with AA on the ground aswell for both teams. That would be amazing but I bet the budget would be blown out of the water to make it. Love the vid!

2nd hit could light of a few fuses or a smoke bomb to make it even more awesome than this already is.
@kevinshen93913 жыл бұрын
Amazing video, and Iove how realistic the explosion and damage was! So cool! However, just a bit of opinion-based constructive criticism, the video would be a bit better overall if the building process was shortened a bit and the action shown sooner. There could be like an extra video with an in depth build process but putting the action first and not last would be nice.

This is absolutely amazing is there anyway y’all can make modern aircraft?
@Notorious21087 ай бұрын
Maybe you could make a bomber plane that drops the explosives seen in this video and it explodes on impact when it hits a small base that y’all make. And there’s two other modern aircraft battling each other and the enemy teams has to blow up the bomber which has really thick cardboard while also trying to stay alive from the other plane.

If you wanted to do this in a less destructive way, take the circuit you made for the mortar and use it to light a smoke grenade while forcing the plane to pitch into a nose dive.

When I was young, I used a servo in series with a 5v lightbulb, of which I removed the glass, leaving the threads intact , then using a mixture of petroleum and match heads to ignite the actual compound. The servo was connected up to a reciever and a battery pack
