Have you considered the factor of battery replacement after 3 yrs? A battery constitutes 40-50% of vehicle cost. A petrol engine will live for long period - around 20 yrs. So, if the cost of the battery is not lowered, then using an electric bike will be a loss. By 20 yrs you need to replace the battery at least 3-4 times. This is a heavy loss. So, either the cost of the battery should be lowered OR efficiency of the battery should be increased without increasing the cost OR new cheaper battery technology should evolve.

When a company gives you three years warranty on the battery, that means the battery efficiency is going to decrease after that period. You have to pay a huge amount to replace the battery. Or else keep on dragging the battery with drastically reduced performance.

Regular maintain engine never fail(1 lakh km for 10 years in petrol bike).... But in case of ev scooter what about battery work in condition assurance after 5 year... I think battery loses it's performance after 5 year (lithium battery salo sal thodi chalegi..!). And the lithium-iron battery costs today between 30k to 45k..... (5 sal ke bad fir bada kharch...!). What about total life of vehicles . I personally consider whole life and cost of vehicle during purchase.

Lets calculate running cost (Yes I'm gujarati) Splendor 6300 oil 1300 filter 2000 chain sockets 1800 Tyre 7200 service 86400 petrol Total=105000 Ather 450x 10800(electricity. Free if u have solar panels) 3600(subscription fees yearly 1200rs which includes service and brack replacement) 64000 new battery(this cost will reduce in future. Currently its 64000 rs. Also needs to be changed after 5 years but in worst case lets say we will replace in 3 years) Tyre-1800 (Oil etc not required. Also no engine so no maintainance no chain no moving complex parts only maintainance of bracks which is included in subscription fees) Total cost=80200 (Even if u replace battery in 3 years rather than 5 years saving = 105000-80200=24800).. Also consider it has more features. Is moped so u can carry some goods/bags easily. More features like GPS and many other cool features .. Ideally if u compare this with activa which is moped and gives less average it would definitely gives u good benefits

Primary bike le rahe to kahi bhi ana jana raheta hai to petrol bike preferable. Secondary bike hai to hi EV k bare me soch sakte hai... Kyoki emergency hua aur EV charging me hoga to kam se kam 3 hours pakd lo... (Normal charging) EV me range anxiety bhi rahegi... So mental tension.. Petrol bike kahi bhi le jao... Good to go sift tanki me petrol hona chahiye... I own Honda CB Shine (2017) completed 1.2lac kms.(1st bike) Second scooter Ather 450x gen3(daily city commute 60 to 80kms (service field))

Mintu and Rahul ji very good video....Lekin Bhai sahab....abhi vo time nahi aaya hai jab...electric scooter se hone wali bachat ko aap bacha payenge....electric scooter ya bike manufacturers chahte hai ki.....jo aap petrol se bachaye...vo sedha unki pocket me jaye.....petrol bike me bhari bharkam engine hota hai.....jo ki electric bike me nahi haota.....aur agar dekha jaye to petrol bike ya scooter me aaj bhi elecric scooter ya bike se jyada electrical parts lage hote hai...fir bhi isko itna mehnga becha jaa raha hai.......kyoki companies ki nazar aapki savings par hai...jo aap electric vehicle me karenge...isliye jabardasti iski ...mantainence cost ko increase kiya gaya hai.....annual subscription ya amc ki baat ki jaa rahi hai.....jo company hame petrol ki bike bana kar de rahi hai..vo actually kafi jya investment aur mehnat kar rahi hai.....aur near future me mujhe koi ummmid nahi hai ki...electric bike wale consumer ko kuchh khane denge.....balki mujhe lagta hai ki ...anewale near fututre me petrol vehicle hame jya value for money denge.....kyoki electric vehicles ko competition dene ke chakkar me vo hame jyada aftersales service deals de payenge.....offcourse long term me to ev hi chalegi.....lekin usme abhi kam se kam 5-7saal lagenge....

Me khud ather 450x chala rahu 5500 chala chuka hu or 80 kahi average pakad lete he tabhi 13000 bacha gaye or petrol me 50 hi average mile ga 5500 chalane pe 68.75 unit lage or muje 7.34 par unit pe karna pad tahe tho 504.62 hi laga vo bhi bas 4 month me

After 3 year if battery will damage....then a major cost of Rs 50000 will be there Since there is warranty of 30000km or 3 year.. If you drive more than 30000 km then it is out of warranty.... If battery 🔋 power lost at 50000 km then a major cost of Rs 50000 will be waiting for you Just like tata nexon battery rate is 7.5lakh as one of the owner show in tweeter...but it is in warranty so conpany replace it free of cost.

Ather 450x have 3.7KWH battery and take 5 Units to charge completly which cost around INR 50 and runs 100Km so running cost is 50 Paisa per KM. that is vs Splendor give aroung 60KMpl @ 105 RS/L that is 1.75 Rs/Km. so by calculating 50kms a day (Which is on much Higher side) gives 54,750Km in 3 years. Athar costs INR 27375 and splendor costs 95812. For Splendor - chain sprocket works more than 100K Km no need to change, engine oil is 200 for each 5000 Km so for generally my experience is 0.5 Rs per KM for servicing and other maintenance cost that comes around 47,906, tyres 2500, battery 1200. For Ather - Belt need to change after 50K - costs 1500, service cost 0.3 rs per Km (Engin oil and engine service reduced) 16425 , Battery depreciation cost (60% lifecycle)40,000 rest of the mechanical will be same for both. For Splendor = (Fuel)95812 + maintenance 47,906 + Battery (1200) = 1,44,918 Ather =(Fuel)27375 + maintenance 16425 + Battery (40000) = 83,800 Total saving = 61,118. extensively
