Petrol Proofing. Does it work?

I wanted to test the ProXL 2k clear coat that I have used in the past to check how it reacts to petrol spills. I was not disappointed!

I think the real test is when there has been fuel in the tank for a couple of weeks. The vapour collects up around the neck and wrinkles the paint around the filler cap. Any long term problems, or have you found the holy grail? 🤔

Thanks dude. How long does the can of 2k clear last for when it been mixed?

It doesn’t actually say on the can. I know it has a relatively short life (anecdotally about a week) but I use the whole can one one job. One big can is enough for a tank with 4 or 5 coats so I never have any leftover to test.
