Its a quite impressive solution. Just a small question over the period when magnet attracts iron residue. how do we clean it from the magnet??? do we need to remove magnet from tank and clean it. it will be difficult to remove it from tank . pls clarify.

It's high time RE should manufactur stainless steel fuel tanks. 😊😊. They won't do that , their fuel pump, injectors etc will not be required to be serviced / replaced. Rust formation is the major cause of expensive fuel system repairs in bikes.

Any kind of moisture is bad. Motorcycle manufacturers are smart. If the tank sits empty, it will rust.

​@@cahardiksingh6332 ethanol in petrol convert the moisture in tank to water . Any fuel sitting for more than a week will cause water conversion and retention thus causing rusting . Which will flow to the engine without a good fuel filter. May damage carburettor engines badly. Loss of mileage and performance and missing issues occur due to that

Try harpic or other toilet cleaner which contains HCL removes rust from tank. Fill the tank with harpic and water, keep it for 24hr then all the rust will be gone.

You can also do Acid pickling. Use HCL acid 1litre. Put plastic on lid opening & close it. Fill water from bottom side & pour acid bottle in it. Keep for for 2 to 3 hours. Then drain, rinse ,do slight oiling. Also put magnetic inside.

Maine apni suzuki ke tank ke liye kara tha, mat karna ye. Maine bahar se magnet lagaye the but jis part pe lage wahan bahot microscopic chhed ho gaya jisse petrol thick hoke bahar aata rehta hai. Bahot hi slow leak hai but hota hai. Bettee tareeka hai acetic acid 2 din tank mein bhardo pura aur time to time hilate raho, fir drain kardo. Sukhte hi bina time gawaye kerosene daalke pure tank mein hilaado fir 1 din chhod ke tank use kar sakte ho. Rust acetic acid mein dissolve hoke bahar aa jaayega
