I never knew my dad, he left when I was young. I never think about him or really feel like I missed out on having a dad when I was growing up either. But after watching this video it made me think about it all and what I missed out on. I have my own son now (he's 3) so I'd like to hope one day we can share whatever hobby he picks up and create some memories like this. Great video.

I love it. That's the way kids should grow up! Our son didn't become a climber in the end, but he became a biker who loves being outside, bivouacs on mountains with friends and will hopefuly always prefer an adventure over the smartphone. It's so important to show kids how to produce dopamine via action and not via a f***ing screen. Great job Alfie, steve and Harry. ✌ from the Frankenjura, Hannes

Fantastic, loved the film. Encapsulates all that climbing means to me. I found it quite moving, when they climbed the route his mother climbed. Just great.

Beautiful, well done Steve, love this. My dad taught my brothers and I - it was a big part of our childhood and I loved it. Never climbed hard but have always loved the outings. I’ve got two young daughters now. Hopefully I will be able to pass it along

Really enjoyed that Steve ! It touched the "soul" of family climbing that is an enduring privilege for many of us. Great stuff !

What a cracking lad you have there Steve. I'm lucky that I have a similar relationship with my boy harry too! Shows there's so much more to climbing that just the technicality or the effort. ❤
