I have the 1.9 version of that I the same colour with the leather power steering and grey carpets. Made in 1990. Very nice to see you as the younger generation experience this car. What you feel now is what those in the 80s and early 90s found. It makes you happy to drive. They bring people together, as you will get people chatting to you when you stop. You will always remember that drive young man. By the way my first one was stolen 30 years ago.

I’ve owned a 1993 1.9 in this colour since 2012, my third since 1990 and they still make me smile. It’s not a daily driver, it only goes to car shows now but I love it and so do many of the people who attend those shows. Great video.

Great video mate. You did the car proud. I had 2 and had exactly one like this. H reg Miami blue sliding (vacuum sealing) sunroof 1.6. In 2001. However it had the black/red cloth which I think looks better in the 1.6 (particularly with red carpet). Thanks for posting!

Decent video of a classic! I had a 1.9 GTi over 10 years ago, one of my favourite ever cars and was always a poster car for me growing up.
