Peugeot 206 Adjustable Gear Linkage Change Upgrade

Peugeot 206 adjustable gear linkage change / upgrade.
Nice smooth gear selection and worth changing.
Simply remove the old ones with pliers (push them out of the ball) and fit new ones with locking pins.

The gear linkages are installe without any insulator in between right? I got some rubber seals with them but dont know if they are needed

I wonder if the set of gearshift rods for the Peugeot 106 also fits the 206? The engine and gearbox must be the same - TU and MA gearbox.

Hi I have a 206 Gti 2003 and I’m getting a crunching as I change up into third . Do you think it’s worth changing gear box oil and looking at gear linkage or do you think it’s just a synchro ? All other gear changes seem okay . Many thanks Dave

@@davidcroker5660 yes change gearbox oil and replace worn gear linkage bushes. It will make a huge difference
