Not sure why people try to compare the 2 . They're both completely different cars from different eras. We can only move forwards...

If you look on Autotrader you can get a 208 GTI with less than 6000 miles for under £14000. This is £5k less than brand new. I went for a Ford Fiesta ST and have a massive grin every time I drive it! Both cars are great though, whichever one you choose will be the best for you.
