It has its separate wiring like the stereo behind the unit.

Hi I have the heads up display and happy to say that on my model everything still works, even the steering remote, I can also confirm that i now have a double din installed with the same harnesses with no issue, as the multi info display unit doesn't show properly when it's hot so I detached it and put it away, and replaced with a sony dsx-b700.

Just one more advice when choosing the stereo, due to the angle that it sits on some units can be hard to read! So choosing Wisely

Weird my factory 3008 stereo has Bluetooth. Maybe mines special. 😂 I do want to upgrade mine though to double din

I've got the 2010 Peugeot 3008, I have a Kenwood none android double din, what happens when you lose the display screen regarding faults and changing vehicle parameters. Thanks for any help.

OK so far as I'm aware you will only loose your vehicle parameters so be sure to cycle though and set the as you want ie greeting lights etc, the unit mainly displays the original stereo settings, ie radio stations etc, any faults are show in the centre display located between the rev counter and speedometer. I have still kept mine incase, but never needed it again, Also the unit would not display properly during hot summer days which is very annoying

When you were scrolling through the vehicle settings were you using the scroll wheel and the arrows on the right hand stereo stalk? You didn't show exactly what buttons you were using to keep controlling those functions. Thanks

Can you confirm whether the original radio was the RD4 or the RD5 please? Did it have the usb connect in the centre console storage ? Thanks

I can't remember which it was, but it was just a standard cd player with a aux input in the centre console, but had no usb

Did you mean the paddle shifter for the gears? If so, then they are original that come with car

I got it all from dynamicsounds.co.uk All in the video description. Ps pioneer does not stay on with the key in auxiliary, so I switched to a Alpine with has the option to stay on, it works with the same leads

It does not matter how easy or not it is, is not showing in the video. Is like watching a video of how to change a flat tire and just show the car with a tire replaced already, after all is "quite simple" you just unscrew and screw back 🤣🤣🤣🤣

That radio has Bluetooth but doesn't work all the time just press source button and find it on your phone under the name "peugeot "
