Really? To me it was the slowest 90hp, 1.6 hdi 90hp also. 1.3 70hp corsa was reeealy close to it, and 1.6 90hp polo left us for dead.

@@np5654 naah man, the 1.6 hdi is a really decent diesel engine, it gives u a really nice 230nm at a really low rpms, I went to almost 80km/h with only the 2nd gear in a wheels spin

I have the peugeot 307 hatchback edition 1.6 16v since 2001 with 700000 km on the dashboard.I have done 1 motor change and 2 transmission changes, and I still enjoy it with lower eibach springs and hard suspension 😉

Have you also upgraded your shock absorbers? If so, does it make a lot of difference in terms of handling and road feeling? I've got eibach springs as well but the ride is still too loose and bumpy

@@SloOne8450 i put KW V1 coilovers and it feels great, its stiff but car feels planted even at 170 kmh speeds, its big investment for old car but, you get what you pay for... now i have it on new tires 205/50 r17 as a winter setup and with these tires its more comfortable, but for summer setup im gonna be putting on 215 or 225/45, little bit less rubber and wider

I owned a 306 Gti 16V. Hard as a rock. I sold it because at that time I wanted to buy a VR6. I bought the VR6 and yes, it was fantastic but I hadn't the same feeling in narrow roads that with my previous 306. If anyone of you can get a 306 or ZX 2.0 16V...go for it....you won't regret of that. Thanks KZbin for not advise me...good video! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Thanks for this video dude.. My Pueg is 307 T6 2007 1.6 Manual are going to swap with 2.0 180ps (EW10J4S) machine on my next projects.. In this video, I believe your machine is 2.0 136ps (EW10J4) is still lack of power.. If you do a few mods such as - custom extractor 4 to 1 stainless with Highflow Cats, straight pipe with center 'Turbulence Flow' tube - No Muffler (or you can install with HighFlow Muffler)., HighFlow Air Filter from K&N or BMC., remap the ECU or you can install GAN Chip Tuning device., send the Engine Head for CNC Porting and up-grade with bigger Valve + Beryllium Copper Valve Seat (if you got extra budget) for sure.. And if you got a plenty budgets., you can install High-Comp Piston (+0.5mm diameter) from WISECO., CAT's High Cam (high speed Cam Ratio) and don't forget to install the ARP Head Bolts! You also must install the external engine oil cooler + gearbox oil cooler, custom Aluminum Radiator (2 layer or 3 layer) is better to absorb the high heat from this machine mods! And also change the Final Drive gears for the gearbox to get extra max top speed.. I guarantee with this set-ups., your machine will get at least 215 to 235 whp (without Turbo!) with correct tuning.. Wish you GOOD LUCK! :)

I have a 307 ew10a. 0-100 9.1s. Drives and sound similar to this. Good handling and accurate steering. Reliable and fun car to drive if you know how to take care of it. Regular oil change, etc. Solenoid, maf, map, injector cleaning. Etc.... I think you went to 110km/h lol

Ce moteur ew10j4 développé par Peugeot en collaboration avec chrysler et un moteur extrêmement souple et fiable à condition de bien le traiter un minimum ... c'est pas un foudre de guerre mais sur une 206 il fait bien le travail à condition de savoir piloter , pas comme ce type qui maltraite cette 307 ...

У меня тоже пежо 307 2,0 SW 2007 г.в. черного цвета, на автомате. 314000 км пробега. Моя Пыжик ни как не едет так как на видео сколько не топи педаль газа, резкая газовка и двигатель тарахтит ))) все эти время думал это нормально для Пыжика..... В начале видео думал что чиповый у него Пыжик. А нет все штатное. То есть моя Пыжик уже конченный получается. Теперь я знаю как должен быть нормальная Пыжик.!! )).

Thank you for this upload! Brings back memories. :) Had a 307SW from 2004. Nice and revy engine, for an old wagon good suspension, lots of space! (loved that), looks good (at least for me), BUT mine had the same weird noise like this has from the gearbox/clutch?, too much rust here and there, and on highway (over 3800-4000rpm) too much oil consumption, and gear ratio too short for the 2.0L gasoline (about 140km/h at 4000rpm, when my Stilo 1.2i 16V had 160km/h at 4000rpm, with 80hp...)
