Hello, and thank you for your video. What colors of wire did you put your resistance on? On the video it looks like you put the 2 sides of the resistor on the tracks farthest from the center of the green plug. Can you confirm this by looking at the colors of the wires coming from the ECU? I'm afraid of putting the resistor on the wrong color and making a mistake. Best regards

Great video. Sorry to bother you. I'd like to make a question in case you can help: how do you know or find the resistance value for the airbag ? I have a Peugeot 308 with seat side airbags and everything is fine. I'm trying to install a 308cc seats and it is giving me error for the Airbag. I'm afraid if I can use a multimeter to test and measure between airbag wires or if that would deploy the seat airbag.
@LMAutoRepairs7 жыл бұрын
Erick Soares de Oliveira Hi You should be able to measure it without deploy the airbag, the amount of current sent by the multimeter is extremely low... But, there is always a but, that is not advisable... do it at your own risk... If you have a diagnostics tool, and it shows the resistance of the circuit, then you are sorted... otherwise is trial and error... but, it should be somewhere between 1.8 and 3 Ohm, I would say... I will check on my documentation to see if there is anything in there... Thank you for watching!
@ErickSO7 жыл бұрын
lmsvvavr , thanks for your kindly attention. I'm afraid that my original 308 seat airbag is different from the 308cc , as the error happen only with the 308cc seats. Do you think that it would be safe to use resistors to adjust the proper value for the 308cc in my 308 system? I mean, maybe series or parallel to properly match the value if that is the case. Thanks
@LMAutoRepairs7 жыл бұрын
Erick Soares de Oliveira I do understand that, and that is what I meant... You can measure the resistance of the airbag of the original seat and then the replacement and work it out from there... IT SHOULD NOT DEPLOY ANYTHING, BUT DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK. Try to research to see if you find any values... or try with the diagnostic tool...

I broke the red part of green connector but i put it again and it is stable and constant. after that I used my car for 3 days. when i run the car after 3 days. the left (driver side) curtain airbag opened (exploded) So, Is it my face or something else? and the green socket has 4 cable. are these cables +12V/ -12V or signal cable?
@LMAutoRepairs7 жыл бұрын
özgür çelik With all the respect, if you do not know enough about airbags, do not touch! If that curtain airbag deployed like that after you touch the plug, imagine if the steering airbag deploy while you are driving!.... Leave that for someone with some more knowledge! I would say the first thing you should have done, before touch anything, was to scan the car... Guessing on airbag systems is not a very good idea...
