Peugeot 307cc rear parking sensor removal, test and fix.

How to remove sensor strip, remove sensor and test a single sensor using a multimeter. The resistance between all pin combinations can be measured, but it seems from personal experience and trawling the web, that the most common fault is an open circuit between pins 1 and 2.
If you decide to try to remove a sensor and are not confident of avoiding damage to the plastic clips on the mounting strip, please remove the rear bumper first.

Do you know the location of the parking sensor control unit ?

I have not had to find it, luckily, however this is from a forum entry...”The ECU should be located in the boot on the LHS under the side trim. You'll be able to tell if it is there by following the senor loom underneath and it will be above the grommit that the loom uses to enter the inside of the car.”
