Just started whatchibg these fantastic video, Wh As os causing the issue with high pressure fuel pipe causing metel debris, filter not change frequenty enough, cheap supermark fuel or just wear & tear with the pump ? thanks in advance !

22 grams of Soot and its blocked up interesting ive seen DPFs at 30-40 grams and thats when the differential pressure seems to reach the threshold for a regen. Undersized DPF here in this Peugeot or is this normal for a car?

how do you know which dif pressure line to spray the cleaner in? whats the name of the spray gun? good videos

It's funny as I work on boxer and relay vans with same engine and only ever had one pump gone but killed the hole fuel system had to replace all of it to prevent damage to any new injection pump or injector Do lots of injectors on them though

Hey Jimmy, when you're working on these vehicles do you put a protector on the seat before you sit on it if you're having to go under and in the vehicle? Or do u use some king of ground mat?

Iv’e had the urea error on my car the same like this one 2.0 hdi and I have decided to do an adblue delete.the person who did adblue delete told me that the dpf won’t be affected but now the dpf won’t enter regeneration. The pressure sensor values seems to be fine. I have contacted the diagnosing tool and reset dpf presure sensor and dpf as brand new and still not regenerating. The soot mass of dpf is 0 now after resetting and won’t change after driving. Do you have any advice? Thanks!

Hi, i have similar issue after turn off adblue - cannot turn on dpf regeneration and even complete new dpf installation in ecu. After every few kilometers of driving p246c appear. Have you solve your problem ?

Personally I like to straight pipe my diesel, and hold the rpms at 4000rpm from cold to warm it up..

Don’t buy a diesel at all there just utter junk and that’s that take it from a man who works on everything diesel from buses to trucks to cars and vans with all sorts of faults Diesel engines are still tractor engines manufacturers make no improvements to the design or components just to the emission control equipment where as modern petrol engines are constantly striving for better reliability mpg and vast improvements in materials and design

2 miles a day? Why doesn’t he sell the car and walk?? As for the swarf in the fuel filter, I can’t understand people who don’t fix these issues before they turn into major ones. Prevention is better than cure. Guess my routine maintenance at every 10,000 kms and swapping out parts before they fail gives me piece of mind that my 12 year old Qashqai with 330,000kms on the clock will keep on going………..and it does!

I would say it all depends on how much you relay on the car :-) if not that much I would also drive till it fails and repair it than.

@@stupa55 In my case, my office is 40kms away from my house and my job takes me all over the country. Plus my kids all have football training every night between 10kms and 15kms away from my house. So yes, I need a reliable car which is why I keep on top of my own maintenance. I’m a diy mechanic and save a fortune doing the work myself.
