Great job, Jimmy! One thing I can say, after watching several of your videos - I would never buy a vehicle from Peugeot (or any other manufacturer that has programmable obsolescence on perfectly good condition parts). Comparing this to an old Peugeot 404 diesel (I drove one for a couple of years, a few decades ago), is enraging!

11:45 from my own personal experience I’ve found that after any form of reset in the Nox system/s the adblu system will kick into life but the Nox monitoring stays at that 20ppm figure. After you drive around a little and pull over, you will see the PPM figure moving in real time. Out of insurance I always remove and clean the adblu injector and the port it sits in. Had loads of PSA vehicles have a denox fault due to the port being caked up, as a result the injected adblu gets caught in the build up.

I've fixed parking sensors before on these just look under back bumper the connector will have just fallen out of the sensor just click it back in you might see it hanging down. Just clicks back in fixes it. Saved my mate about 300 quid maybe more as main dealer would say need all new sensors

32k is mad for a diesel engine. I don’t even like 15k. 10,000 miles is long enough

P20EE Code….working at a Vauxhall/Citroen dealer, we’re finding the injectors failing and being the main cause. Obviously causing the bores to clean, pressuring the crankcase and pushing oil into the induction subsequently causing the DPF to block.

This. It's also a known problem on the Volvo/Ford 1.6 4164T TDCi engines (which is the PSA 1.6 HDi).

Good morning, Many people who are not familiar with PSA vehicles equipped with the AD Blue system forget to reset the parameters by indicating a replacement of parts, which causes these various problems.

Having worked on Fiat Ducato's for many years I would say the weakest part of those vans are the gearbox/clutch and the sliding doors, other than that they are a pretty reliable vehicle. The semi/automatics (robotic shifts) were a absolute disaster avoid them like the plague.

The oil dilution could also be caused by injector seals leaking return diesel into the valve train, which was a common issue with the Euro4 and Euro5 PSA diesels. If the injector seals and turbo seals are worn then the engine is at risk of running away. Those injectors should be good for more than 200.000 miles but it's possible it has a bad one.

CO2 fire extinguisher in the air intake can stop runaways too. No oxygen, no combustion.

If the engine has an EGR system, it will have a throttle body which simply closes if the computer detects a runaway (or if you turn the key off).

I bought an used van exactly like this (Citroen Jumper, Peugeot and Fiat Ducato all come from same factory in Abruzzo) It works fine and has a great engine. It looks like the previous owner disabled start and stop and AdBlue system. Shall I leave it that way?

Just had a thought. Does the catalytic convert get block similarly to the DPF ?? Its generally upstream of the DPF ??

30k service interval is for business customers only usually I know VAG do a similar thing for customers on business agreements.

32k oil change intervals, 50k km or so ? That's mental. The "oil" you drained looked more like tar than oil... Do these vans still use the Ford "Puma" engine ?

They never were fitted with the puma engine. The 2.0 & 2.2 engines used in Peugeot cans & cans is the DW12P engine which is a robust unit if maintained correctly.

Can u show a DPF cleaning on Suzuki swift 1.25 Diesel Engine? Terrible it is always regenerating after each 5 kms of road. However if I go on Highway it is never regenerating. This 1.25 Diesel Engine is a GM product and mounted on several other GM products like Fiat, Opel etc.. Thanks, even the DPF pressure sensor is odd and has only 1 pipe connection!

Peugeot oil service every 32K, surely that's asking for trouble? Jimmy if you had a van and it was (hopefully) a "keeper" how often would you change the oil? Btw Merry Christmas!

I am not Jimmy but I have a VW T5 with 450k kms (280-90k miles or so) It has all the documented oil changes and it had the oil replaced in every 20-22k kms. Now I do an oil change at every 10k if I do a lot of city and every 15k (kms, ~9k miles) if I do mostly highway. Hope this helps somewhat.

Sad that pepole hold on/belive those manufacturer reccommended oil change intervals. Those should me max 15k km. but no. Manufacturers want to show "low maintenance costs".
