My 1.6hdi 2015 year have error "Engine fault", it says LIN problem, but all wires are okay, and alternator works as it should. But garage can not delete this error.. Car works fine, and drives as it was. Only error, Eco mode and Cruize is not working now..

Same here with an 1.6hdi from 2015 on a 308. Engine fault error and the testers are showing an alternator problem with LIN-bus connection/communication at fault. Everything works good, alternator, battery. The Peugeot`s service told me i have to replace the whole alternator for that error to disappear. Another problem is that ECU can have some internal error or bugs and still showing errors in the system. And for that i think we need to update or reset the software.

@@birsanandrei189 My problem was the Start/Stop system. So i turned it totally off, and the error went away. Just now the problem is with Cruize control, it works only short time, and it might be with an abs/esp pump, or Abs block, but on December 12 i will go back to my Peugeot mechanic. He has all original files and software, so maybe he will figure out what the problem is)

Good morning. I have one question: after unplugging the BSS plug at the regulator and connecting the meter to the regulator pin, should there still be a power supply of about 11v there? This seems strange to me. Thanks

Excellent ......i have the same micsig scope and have bought the ditex in cylinder pressure transducer.....the micsig has a in cylinder pressure transducer pre set.....i wonder if by any chance you have the same and could advise how to set it up for ditex pressure transducer ( i have the absolute pressure version) sorry if i am being a pain jeff

Hi Jeff, I do not have the ditex transducer im afraid ! I made my own one with the cheapy transducers online a while back which comes with a chart that references to the pressures seen on the waveform. I plan to make a video on that soon when i get time sorry i could not be of any help with the ditex model !

This case was a faulty alternator but be aware there are software updates to sort the LIN faults for these Probably need to go to Peugeot if you dont have the software to do so

cars are getting worse and worse. just need the darn thing to charge the battery, not have it have a telephone conversation with the ecu
