Hopefully this car had no major issue and people buy more and more Peugeot , because this car seems so damn good

Love it, the 408’s best version is the middle east version. It gets a 215-225 hp petrol engine (no hybridization) and gets all the options u can think of: adaptive cruise, heated seats, 360 cam and much more. Have mine in elixir red and it is a head turner for sure

Back in the days posh meant high quality materials, wood and leather and physical buttons and knobs with great tactile feel and ergonomics, now posh means shiny black plastic and tablets stuck on instead of an actual dashboard.

The touch bar under the center display is to me actually interior innovation of the century. Way more easy to click than physical buttons thanks to its horizontal orientation and big size. Compare to physical buttons they are customizable for anything from infotainment. So you can change, based on preference or season or whatever you think. I like and own some engaging old fashion youngtimers but I use 408 as daily and I love it.

For such a large car (albeit not very heavy at ~ 1400Kg) a 1.2 litre (130 bhp) engine seems slightly meagre. I guess that when it is loaded with people/ kit it will feel a bit underpowered.

That 1.2 puretech is a nightmare engine as well

I have the same engine in my Citroen C5 Aircross, and I had some trepidation before buying it. However, with three kids, two adults and a full boot it’s absolutely fine. There is power there to overtake on single carriageway roads if you need it.

У Србији за 38.000 можете купити Пежо 408 , 1.6 бенз 215 hp ( мислим да нисам погрешио) ... За те новце 38.000€ сам купио нов Артеон Елеганце 2.0 ТДИ 150 hp. Била је распродаја . Пресудила је моторизација и простор .

I. Would never buy a car without heated seats like in the GT line. The engine is a joke. I would like to have a 2 litre engine and if it was not SUV ish. It would look better if it was just a 4 door coupe

The 1.2 engine now has a timing chain. No more wet belt …

@@fiery1962 From what i hear that is only true on hybrid versions of the 1.2 engine from Stelantis, the Jeep Avenger and others in 1.2 form (not hybrid) still has a wet belt

Wet belt engine / Steering wheel you can't see dials over/ No rear wiper / Hidden heater controls. Cracking Buy ???. Like the presentation though.

Ok i dont get it , it is not a SUV, its not 3008 or 2008, but it is not 308 either. It has the same engine that the way way smaller 308 have and also have absolutely identical interior. So, why would anyone buy this over 308 ? Will be bigger and heavier with the same interior and engine and i bet will drive worse than a 308.

I have a 408 PHEV 225. It’s delightful. Waaay nicer than a 308.
