The problem is not for me the noise, the problem is that the chain can leave its place easily. I also was thinking about its pollution because old mopeds' emissions rate is higher than actual cars' emissions rate.

there is definitely better motorbikes out there than owning a moped, they are going faster less noise but... twice the price and not stylish at all. I go with Peugeot for the price the style and the simplicity also I have been using it for 10.000km so far without any problem, I have only to put gasoline with mix oil and nothing else, I did not even change the spark

Noise isn't a problem for me, but if petrol must be mixed with oil its emissions are going to be terrible so it's not an ecologic motorbike (speed, price or noise is not important).

I don't know this bike, but in my opinion is go for motorbike made in Japan unless you care about the style for example Italian vespa or Peugeot moped. But anyways... this is just my opinion, another person might comment here who has more knowledge about it.

Hello travelmoto, first of all great video :) I wanted to ask a few questions about the Vogue, cause I m thinking of buying one. I am about 100 kg and I would really like to put also my wife on the back of the moto driving to the beach, just a few kilometers from my village. My wife is about 50 kg. So do you think the Vogue could handle that kind of load :P I know that it is only for one person, but just sometimes, I would like to use it for two persons. I would put a little pillow on the back so that she could sit there. I really like the style of this motorbike that s why I m not really interested in something else. I would appreciate if you could answer me :) Thank you very much :) Mario

Total weight 150kg? I think it is bad idea, you will destroy it for sure. I am 85kg and when I take passenger it feels like it will smash in two pieces

but at the same time I do drive it sometimes with two people (80kg + 80kg=160kg) for very short distance and very carefully and slowly. By the way, me too I like Peugeot moped and I have many so if I break it I have parts to fix right away

How about the law in your country? Mopeds it is supposed to move around in the neighborhood but rules are made to brake them... some french guys have been travelling around the South America with those Peugeot Vogue for thousands kilometers and they had lots of fan.

+lul123 The problem is that the recent ones are made in china, and the quality lowered of course. Some people reported that the bearings of the pulley weren't even greased on the assembly chain, and the chinese copy of the original gurtner carburetor are bad as hell and cause some engine troubles (not all but some).

+Valmo2379 yea must be that my pulley was greased so i never heard that noise, also i remember my top speed was lowered when i got like 1000 km after the first dealer maintenance (maybe they did something wrong) the effect of that was like when the engine was cold i needed to wait like 3 km before it can exceed 30km/h and go 45 km/h (restricted to 45km/h by law in my country), but before, when it was new i never had this problem

+Valmo2379 Yes you are right about this... actually the nuts from the body are bad quality and the carburetor is terrible, it used to do 4 stroking from the first day until I had to remove from the filter the air box. I believe is good idea replacing the carburetor even from the first day and you are ready to go... for long rides.!!! I have an old Peugeot made in France and except of the calibrator the and wheels everything else seem to be exactly the same. If you want to see my other Peugeot type on KZbin "Peugeot Vogue in Tokyo" thats me with my other Peugeot (made in France)

900€ for this shit? Try to find Czechoslovakian Jawa Babetta 210 or 207 if you're into classic design, 210 has two speed automatic gearbox and costs max 200€. It's not new but it works 20+ years and will work for next two generations, not like this chinese nightmare.

+Artifex As a collector I have many mopeds, mainly 60's and 70's Peugeot's. I have an old Honda Moped 4 stroke and also I have the JAWA moped (got it for free) and I will give it away. I go only for France style vehicles. I enjoy using my Peugeot vogue in daily life for the past 3 years. In my opinion... 900 euros was worth giving.
