Pevensey Castle - South Coast of England - with Drone Footage

Had the chance to visit Pevensey Castle, located in the village bearing the same name on the south coast of England. Originally built by the Romans to guard against raiders and pirates, it was repurposed by the Normans in the mid 1000's when they build a strong keep on one corner of the original Roman walls. While it was sadly abandoned some centuries later, the ruins remain open to the public and are an enduring testament to the Roman, Saxon, and, later, Norman influence in that part of Britain.
