New sub here, life long fan of the Bucs (I mean orange and white, Vinny, traded away Steve Young) the fact the D is snubbing in the second half with a scabbed together secondary is remarkable. Linebackers are spectacular and should get more acknowledgement. The presence of the O-line, the attitude of the whole team is inspiring. Baker is a leader, not perfect, but understands he can't do it alone. I feel better about this season than when Brad Johnson won us our first Superbowl. Sorry, I mean when Derreck Brooks, Ronde Barber, John Lynch, Warren Sapp, Dexter Jackson, Mike Allstot and Warrick Dunn won our first. Sorry to drone on. GO BUCS!

great show, Scott!! Holy smokes! The Bucs defense has been playing great down the stretch since the bye week as Tampa Bay has gone 6-1 to end the regular season with a 10-7 record. But what Todd Bowles' unit has done in the second half of games has been remarkable. What the hell is Bowles saying to his team at halftime?

I think his adjustments are very real. They definitely play to what needs to be improved each half. However we can’t start this week against Washington that badly otherwise we’ll be down 28-7 by halftime 😂😂

I don’t think Washington is quite as good as everyone is giving them credit for. They barely beat Atlanta and have a hard time against teams with winning records. Bucs should win this one.

According to his interview, he doesn't make adjustments, the D just stops playing like crap in the second half. I honestly don't know how that makes me feel.

@@PewterReportTV I know. I was just being a bit silly. He is actually doing a lot better with the media this season I think and has let a lot more of his personality show. I honestly feel bad for him that there have been so many injuries to the D because I really do think his scheme and mentality pair perfectly with Coen on the other side of the ball. A healthy D and there might have been 2 15-win NFC teams. Five one score losses for the Bucs this season. All winnable games. The loss of Dennis at ILB isn't talked about enough.

It seems to me that Coach Bowles sticks to his game plan for the first half and then makes adjustments based on what the other team is doing at halftime. Personally I would like to see him do that earlier in the game. Playoff teams are just too good to wait on.

These adjustments make no justice to the failure of preventing the other team to score at will on the first half. This defense failed to perform dominant when need in 2 tied games and other previous game. A team with Top 10 Offense shouldn't been having to fight and struggle. They should have clinched the NFC South already before their last 2 games.

I will say that Bowles' defense has only allowed an average of about 13 points in the first half since the bye week. That's not bad at all, especially since they only give up about 3 in the second half.
