I'm with you. I don't think the Bucs need him and I wouldn't be the least bit sad if he doesn't show up for training camp and/or the Bucs just release him.

Hey the edge rush situation is what everyone wanted in free agency and the draft. I believe the two starters will be Gregory and Diaby. I believe 2nd rotation will be Tryon Shoninka and Nelson for the running lanes. 3rd rotation which will be a reality will be Braswell and Watts. Ramirez will run 1 more with the practice squad along with Sean Tucker at RB. We gotta stay stacked like a Steelers or Ravens at edge rusher to have a chance in the NFC where there are a few one way QBs such as Hurts and Goff especially if we can take away the running game from a lot teams on our schedule. The depth at the edge position along with the O line is incredible. I still wish we pair Hakeem Butler of the UFL up with Mike Evans to really allow for Godwin to be a true slot. I say we add another high target receiver and a o lineman for depth. Also maybe a veteran to join the secondary as well.

I'm not sure about Randy Gregory, Jason. He's been AWOL all offseason and is behind in learning Todd Bowles' intricate defensive system.

Of your content, could you speak to the potential disastrous impact the NFL loss of DIRECTV lawsuit could have on the Buccaneers could it be slowing down the signing of Tristan? I have heard some reports that if it goes to 14 billion the NFL may simply cease to exist is the sky falling or is this much to do about nothing would love your thoughts and opinions.

Thanks for analysis of OLB training camp battle. Diaby has the tools to be special. His numbers in all areas should improve including pass rush wins. Go back and look at Lee Roy Selmon. He is the type of pass rusher LB's and DL need to study. He rarely got caught up in games with the OL and blockers. There is film of Selmon taking on a dual layer trio of blockers and still getting the sack or a RB in the back field. On multiple instances he would be doubled at the line. He didn't get caught up in games with the linemen. He did swim over one and swim under the other, splitting them. A RB standing in his way must have thought, "Oh sheet! I'm a dead man." Lee Roy would blow him up and get the sack or TFL. He was also rarely out of position. That's the guy all the Bucs need to study for pass rushing. Simeon Rice is another guy to study as is Sappzilla QBKIlla Big99 himself, Warren Sapp. Gregory just needs immediate release. He's locker room poison.

So you are saying “ just be an all time great”? Lee Roy was a MOUNTAIN of a man. I saw him with his grandkids at Busch Gardens once. I’ve never seen a man that big and strong and he was in his 60’s.

@@brianomoli4 Not just be an all-time great. It's about studying those who were all time greats who came before them. Lee Roy was 6'3" and 256. One of my greatest regrets is not being able to meet him before he passed. RIP
